Great place to take your family and have a bite to eat. Our waiter was fantastic. The food was great and we didn't have to wait 45 mins to eat it or to be seated in comparison to the restaurant down the street. I'm from Chicago and restaurants like this is why I love eating at Mom and pop diners. It was a Sunday morning and every restaurant in the area was extremely busy but Jim's was a winner ?.

We ate breakfast while visiting family in San Antonio. We had a large party and our server was wonderful! We each added an extra tip she was that attentive and good. Good was good and with the party size came very quickly.

Been dinning there since it first opened. It one of our favorite dinning experiences. The food is great. The people are what makes the service such a great experience and you can't beat the price. It's my favorite breakfast place anytime day or night. We have a lot of great family dinning memories there. My family and I were just there this week celebrating my birthday.

On a recent trip to San Antonio I had breakfast at Jim's Restaurant, it's a fine restaurant, nice parking area, very clean area, the dinning area is nice and spacious, very nice booths, nice size tables and seating, wonderful service, clean interior, wide variety on the menu, my food was so yummy good, it's a good choice for breakfast if you're visiting San Antonio
This was a great family restaurant. It was clean appeared well maintained and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you want a Diner or old Sambo's type place to eat this is it.

My omelet was flat with a little cheese cheese, they forgot to put my spinach but did have the bacon. My daughter's pancakes were delicious but the fruit wasn't good at all
