I love this place. Every time I go I have a great time! The owner is very down to earth and humble. He walks around asking if you are ok. He doesn't put up with BS so this makes it a safe place to enjoy the night and have fun! Security is top notch. The bartenders are great. Drinks are excellent! If you want to have a great, fun, safe time Volcan is the place to be. To the owner thank you for the wonderful establishment you run! Thank you for making a safe place to dance the night away! Keep up the great work!

So the name is confusing..I've seen it as Soundcheck, El Volcan Desperados, so I dunno. Once you get past that, the actual venue is really nice. It is a western themed dance club/sports bar..tons of TVs around, probably an awesome place for football! I was there for the Ram Herrera/Roel Martinez Tejano show and the sound, lighting, and dance floor were top notch. It's right by the Ingram Park Mall, and in terms of a comparison, Id say its like Thirsty Horse Saloon's little brother.

Wow they live up to their name Desperadoz Soundcheck. They charge $200 to park your car in their parking lot. They charge more at the door than their website says they do. Then you ask why it's more at the door than on the website and their answer is we are one of the only places open. Really, oh and get this, they claim they don't have a website nor are they affiliated with Google...surprise you are! How do you think you were found. So they don't like being questioned and kick you out. Well you didn't hesitate to take the money, did you? These are examples of how not to run your business! Poor management.

My husband and I went to this club Saturday night for the first time. We ended up meeting the owner outside and he was very friendly and informative. Drinks are a great price. The environment was amazing. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be returning.
