I came here for lunch and just ordered take out. The service was relatively fast and the food was excellent. I ordered the tacos tripas and barbacoa and they were amazing. I had to eat the menudo later but it was still delicious. They had a lot filling inside and it was a good soup to meat ratio. The price was fair and overall, I thought it was really good! Just a little taste of Mexico in San Antonio

I love coming to eat here. Been coming here since I was a kid. The service is so so but overall one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast. I don't recommend trying anything new here unfortunately! The staff and workers are given strict rules not to take back food unless cold. But they WILL NOT take food back. If you don't like something you order they will let you order something else but still put the first item on your tab/check. However I will say 99% of the time I absolutely love all the food ?

In my opinion, I didn't like the food, especially the ranch sauce they put on the eggs and potatoes, it was gelatinous and lacked salt.

My husband and I have loved the food here for years. Unfortunately, our visit today was not an overall great experience. The food was great, but when the server brought our food, we didn't have silverware to eat with. Then she forgot my husband's taco. Another thing that disappointed me was that my plate, for whatever reason, didn't come with potatoes. It was a $10 plate. Apparently, they now only give one tortilla per plates well. That upset me cause Judy's had always been a favorite family spot. Higher prices and less food plus poor service. I truly hope this is an isolated visit. I'm not sure when we will return, but hopefully, next time, the service will be better, and I'll make sure to ask what all is included on my plate. I really did want those papas.

This place is great. Seated immediately, Zaira greeted me with a smile, took my order, and within about 5 minutes my fantastic breakfast was in front of me. The signs hanging from the ceiling are hilarious. If I find myself on this side of town again I’ll definitely stop. Thank you!

First of all the food was cold! The menudo was not fresh! Had to send it back to get a hotter one, but turned out it was just put in the microwave. My steak ranchero had no flavor and it was cold as well. I believe they have changed management. Will not be coming back!
