The staff was nice and the place was clean, but I definitely wouldn’t go again. I’ve had numerous açaí bowls in different places around the US including Hawaii and never been disappointed. The bowl at Jugo was neatly made, but had so little base I had to dig to find the four bites of it. The fruit was in some type of sugar syrup which also was a turn off. I’ll try another place next time I’m craving an açaí bowl.

So delicious! Fruit is fresh and flavorful. Bowl was filled to the brim! The cashier was nice and greeted me as I walked I. The only thing that would help is if staff asked if I had been there before to assist with ordering.m as I had some issues but figured it out very quickly.

Jugo at Alamo Ranch is a great place to get a quick snack and catch up with a friend! They have a great, simple selection of superfood bases and I loved the sorbet style açaí. In addition to unique bowl and smoothie options and add ons, they had fun throwback music that made me want to stay and get another bowl!

I've passed Jugo a few times before since it's in the same strip as Massage Heights and near the H-E-B. I never looked into what they offered but thanks to my fellow Yelpers, they popped up when I was searching for smoothie bowls. Jugo has a limited selection for bowls, as the "pre-made" bowls are just açaí bowls. If you build your own, only then can you have a non-açaí bowl. There are (4) pre-made açaí bowls to choose from, so I opted for the strawberry bowl. -- it was a very good choice. For $11.75, Jugo provides a large serving (16oz) of smoothie and strawberries, with a sprinkle of cacao nibs and honey. I'm glad they use that plastic dome lid, which maximizes the amount of topping. The flavors balanced well. I took one star away because I felt like the staff could've been a bit friendlier or helpful, since I was obviously new to the establishment. It seemed like they were kinda reluctant to answer any of my questions - even tho there were no other patrons to wait on. && They were done whipping up my bowl so quickly that it didn't dawn on me that it was really pre-made. There's a refrigerator that holds premade juices and gallons of detox tea - for quick purchase. Not very much seating and had more of a "take out only kinda vibe" to it. If I'm really in a pinch, I may consider coming here again, but i think may rather hustle make my 20min trek to Playa Bowls instead.

My fiancé attempted to bring me a smoothie bowl home per my request. He was told their system was down and only accepting cash. So he goes to the ATM across the parking lot and comes back a few minutes later to locked doors. The worker opens the door and states they were told to close at 7pm because the card system was down. I am writing this review before 7pm. ??♀️

I love this place. I get an Acai bowl every weekend and Conner greats me with a great attitude and remembers my order. The acai they use taste authentic unlike some other places that use acai juice concentrate.
