Great little brewery. All the beers were spot on and the kitchen was really delivering some great food at very fair prices. The schnitzel fingers, brat & seared spaetzle were all wonderfully done. I’m not a fan of batter fries, but that’s me. Also the house made pickled veggies were all interesting and balanced the plates out perfectly.

I really liked this place and my friend also had recommended that my family stop by. Great place but I feel that my rating needs to reflect not only my review of how we as customers were treated but shed some light on how the staff is managed. Allow me to elaborate! The cleaning staff threw away a bottle of cider that we had already paid for. So when we acquired about the bottle we were told initially they would just refill what was left. (1/3 or one simple glass) 2 waiters were told they were “yelled at” for trying to take care of their customers and told they would have to charge us for another glass. As a business owner I don’t see this as a professional way to deal with customers OR the way to deal with your staff. Don’t think I will be recommending this place to my friends.

Ambiance: German inspired brewery with a huge outdoor patio area as well as indoor dining restaurant space and bar! This is honestly one of the best breweries in San Antonio! Amazing food and their beer list is incredible. As a wine lover, I highly recommend the Red Wine Supernova Belgian triple! One of the best beers I've ever had in my life.
Limited parking onsite as well as street parking. Does get crowded! Dog friendly and kid friendly patio space. Perfect spot for large groups and hanging out with family/friends. Very accommodating service and staff. Highly recommend!

This place is just awesome! It's the new friendly spot for me and my wife! They have really nice happy hour draft specials as well! I definitely didn't steal the coaster :)

My wife and I are originally tried at the Blooms and Brews beer fest, and had to visit a few months later. We both got a flight and but our favorite was the Verklemmt.
Unique neighborhood brewery serving up a nice variety of craft beer, there were 16 on tap when stopped in. There is an indoor area with some bar seating, a sports area with TVs and pinball games etc... There is also a Beer Garden with lots of room, they had some good live music while I was there on a Sunday afternoon. Service was very good. Overall nice place.

I love this place I come here frequently with my friends it has some of the best ipa you can find it’s reasonably priced and just a joyful atmosphere that’s doesn’t make you feel drained highly recommend checking out the German cuisine and beer. Also some of the cooler merch I’ve seen for a brewery.
