This is an absolutely fabulous neighborhood bar. We used to stop in to have a drink on the way to the grocery store. One Saturday, we ended up joining a group of mighty Bison NDSU supporters and came back every NDSU game day to watch the game with a fantastic group of people ... for years! These people are amazing. This ended up being one of our absolute favorite hangouts. We'd bring the kids (adults) when they were visiting. It's a colorful, friendly and lively place! We moved away a year ago and Kennedy's is one of the places we miss the most in the state of Texas!PS get the tots. Holy wow. Soooo delicious.

For Daddy-Daughter dinner tonight, we stayed within the Stone Oak area. I thought to check out @kennedysirishbar.Ashley was the bartender and server who took care of us. Shiner draft was on happy hour for $3. Dad had Sprite. Dad and I shared both the Fried Green Tomatoes, and Fish and Chips. I really liked the tomatoes. It had the perfect breading. The fish was decent.Jameson was also on happy hour but I didn't get to try that. Ashley had suggested Jameson Orange. I'm curious to try next time.

Every time that I've come here with friends, they're impressed by the cocktails, the service, the atmosphere, and the food. Last night, January 11th, was my birthday and we were served by Crystal. This girl was awesome and engaging with us. We couldn't have asked her to do any better. She was on top of her game! Kennedy's will now be our go-to place for cocktails and food!
