I liked this place quite a bit! I ordered the double scoop and had Marshmallow Smore and Alamo Mud as my flavors, and for 10$, it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were quite subtle, and I defenitly loved the caramel swirl! The staff were also nice and they make your order fast. They also had free fudge samples, because they have that too. The Turtle flavor was very good! If you love ice cream, I reccomend this place if you are in San Antonio!

Not the best Kilwin's experience. Been going to Kilwin's up and down the Blue Rigde for years and this was the first time we felt dissatisfied. The ice cream scoopers did not really seem to want to be there. The portions were small and when I mentioned our scoops were small they said "we weigh them". The associate did not weigh mine.... They did top mine up after I questioned them. The ice cream is fantastic, the waffle cones were slightly overcooked at this location but the service was very poor. Rushed, unwelcoming and stingy.

Even though I live not top far from San Antonio and often come down for work, I have to be honest and say I haven't done much exploring here. However, finding out about Kilwins was so delightful! A chocolate shop super close to the Alamo with free fudge and ice cream samples?? Sign me up! I was in the mood for ice cream and ended up getting a scoop of cake batter with chocolate syrup and was in heaven! I also bought a box of chocolate dipped oreos for later snacking. I enjoyed my scoop of ice cream while strolling down the Alamo and enjoying a sunny Saturday evening outside post-work conference!

We were in town for three nights, and we had ice cream from here, every night! My favorite is the chocolate toasted coconut, and my wife preferred the raspberry sorbet. The fresh made waffle cones are amazing too! You're going to walk off all those calories, so treat yourself, it is SO worth it!!
Oh boy! An Aladdin's cave for anyone with a sweet tooth. Diabetics would spontaneously explode if they were to cross the threshold.Seriously this place is amazing and sooo naughty.
Excellent Variety of Sweets, a stone's throw from the Riverwalk ?Fresh chocolates, hot cocoa, fudges, ice creams, and caramel apples ?There's always a machine churning fresh chocolate, caramel, or fudge; and samples are readily available.There are two entrances: One facing the Riverwalk, the other facing Rivercenter Mall; there's usually 4-6 people on staff to handle the tourist crowd, and they move pretty quickly.(That being said, have a good idea what you're going to order before you get to the front of the line.)Everything is delicious. You can ask them to slice the caramel apples to share. ❤️

I recently visited Kilwins and decided to treat myself to their famous waffle cone paired with a scoop of cappuccino chocolate ice cream. Let me just say, it was a match made in dessert heaven! The waffle cone was freshly made, crispy, and infused the air with its sweet aroma. As for the cappuccino chocolate ice cream, it was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of coffee flavor and chocolatey goodness. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and flavors, leaving me craving for more. Kilwins truly knows how to satisfy any sweet tooth cravings, and I'll definitely be returning for another cone soon!
