Bulgogi Japchae was great as always, bulgogi ramen was awesome. Great service as always
Authentic Korean BBQ experience. 10/10!
The 1st Authentic Korean BBQ in San Antonio. It's always changing but the food has great quality and is really good!!!
Phenomenal family-owned Korean BBQ. Very friendly service and the food was high quality. Tteokbokki was amazing, first time I ever tried it. The texture was very interesting, but the spicy-sweet sauce they had it in was awesome. Donkotsu Ramen was pretty good, very flavorful. My main course happened to be Steak, Short Rib, and Pork Belly. Although kbbq means you cook yourself, I could definitely taste the quality of the meat, and would highly recommend checking them out!
I loved it! Lots of delicious food!
Great place to eat and relax with family and friends
Best place to get hot stone pot bibimbap and kimbap. They have a wonderful soju and sake variety but wow the all you can eat bbq is amazing!! 100/10
The food was wonderful. The pork butt melts in your mouth.
Authentic Korean food, awesome service
This might be the best Korean food in town. All the food was savory and well balanced. Most places tend to make the chapjae too sweet, but not here! Here is was a perfectly balance of the chewy noodles, coated in a savory sauce with just the right hint of sweetness and fresh vegetables. The jajang myun was worthy of the moniker of “Korea’s favorite dish” and the pajeon while a little more fluffy than others, was served on a cast iron plate that kept it crisp and hot. The entire dish was chock full of an array of fresh vegetables enveloped by a flavorful and light batter with crisp edges. The banchan was okay with the kimchi itself being the star complement. The service was very ehn but overall worth many visits!
Restaurantji Recommends
Very close to an authentic Korean BBQ made me and my wife very surprised and impressed.
Best customer service I’ve had in San Antonio.
Food was the best korean I've had in years!
Every time we come here, the service is always on point. The food is always good and it reminds me of when I was stationed in Korea. My family and I are regulars and we definitely recommend this place!
Edit: this review is for Kiku Garden in Harker Heights which sadly closed. I don’t know why my review is showing up for Kim’s Galbi. I’ve never been there. 🤷♀️
Kiku Garden will always be my very favorite Korean restaurant. The staff are like old friends who are always happy to see us. The food has always been the very best Korean BBQ I've ever had! Our group of friends had so many good times there, and I can't count the times when friends would fly in from all over the world to eat at Kiku's. Lots of great memories at this iconic restaurant!
