We were in San Antonio for an event at the convention center. Kirby’s was great! We were on a schedule & it was Valentine’s weekend- and my husband has dietary restrictions (gfdf). They got us a table in the bar and we had excellent service & an excellent meal. The steaks were perfect! Every member of the bar staff checked on us even though things were busy. Melissa was especially helpful.

We visit this place a few times a year. Main reason for going is for their amazing traditional escargot. We dined in last night with reservations at 7 pm. Apparently by 7 they were already out of the traditional escargot and talked us into trying the lobster cargot. Honestly, I don't write reviews when I am unsatisfied but I wanted to tell people, don't waste your $29 on this appetizer, it is basically lobster bisque soup poured into an escargot plate!
The food is always exceptional! But the service this time was under par. And I ordered a desert to go but only got half of what I ordered. Cheese cake with no cherries!

Love this place! Nice grill marks on the steaks. Loaded baked potatoes. Just get the sour cream on the side. Lots of it. Loved the baked coursin cheese. Bar gets a little loud and waiters were slammed. A little slow in the service
Steak so so. Sides awful. Deserts awful.
Excellent experience all the way around. Great service, great atmosphere and even greater food. Will come here whenever I am in the area.

The atmosphere is nice, but acoustics drive fair volume of background noise. If have larger party - recommend side room (semi-private)
Tabitha was amazing! The food was excellent! This was our first time...not sure how we missed this gem! Will be back with Tabitha as our waitress.
