Very steady flow of people eating in and picking up. Friendly staff and clean dining room. It was great to see L&L because they closed the one near me when I lived in Dallas. The BEST macaroni salad and katsu chicken!
Food is great, service can be mixed. I eat here at least twice a month. I like it, food is always good and consistent but the service varies greatly, it can be quick or slow. Check togo orders, more than once I have not had sauce or a Musubi., etc. Katsu, molakai chicken, BBQ chicken all solid, Mac salad is awesome. Only thing I would not suggest is the lumpia, they are expensive for the size and don't have a lot of flavor.

Cashier was disrespectful. We waited for our food at the pass for awhile waiting to just be handed to us. Food was cold. Lost flavor. Then he gave us attitude after we seen him prolonging him just giving us the plates that had been sitting there. Then hands the bag over seeing the juices are now everywhere before handing to me.

Walked in greeted by everyone there, the place is very small but clean. They had my order out in a few minutes. Just had the Katsu chicken. The serving was plentiful and delicious as always
From Guam and Phillipines. Been awhile since I have had the taste of the islands. It actually brought tears to my eyes. MY son asked am I ok told Son I have never felt this before. I was home again. Will be back when I am In town again

So my sister and I decided to give L&L a shot. We called in our order and they were very friendly and welcoming on the phone. In the matter of 15 minutes our food was ready to go, so they were VERY quick and efficient. I would recommend this place if you're wanting to eat a quick bite on your break. I ordered the Loco Moco Plate and I would have to say the presentation of the food did not disappoint! Also, being this is the first time having Hawaiian food. As far as the taste, number one I would recommend that they would ease on the salt. I would say less salt is better than too much salt because we could always add if need be. So for those who may have health concerns with sodium intake may need to take caution. So overall, I'd have to say the service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming, other than the salt it was pretty tasty, I highly recommend the macaroni salad!
Went to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue tonight. I had the barbecue beef ribs plate. They were amazing. The atmosphere was fun and the employee were all very nice. We hung around for a live Hawaiian band.
What kind of Hawaiian BBQ place doesn't have pineapple??? Well, in addition to my extreme disappointment that they didn't have grilled pineapple on their menu, the staff at this particular location was rude, unsympathetic, and unprofessional.That being said, the BBQ Chicken I had WAS good, but I would still not go back for the reason stated above.

You know I haven't been to an L&L in so long. It was always the place to get food to fill you up good local favorites. I have to say after not having L&L in so long it was such a treat to eat here again specially this location. The service was full of aloha and Kat was such a great part of our experience. I had the chicken katsu, musubi, and bbq chicken, everything was grindz! So good. I also loved the vibe and the decor inside made me feel like I was back home, local music playing and the delicious smells in the air. Also they have little get togethers in the back where they play music and eat and drink so cool. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're missing those bomb plate lunches.

I love the food here. Ive been coming here for years. Im only rating it so poorly because im tired of my food and sauces being wrong when i pick up my food after calling it in. I live 30 minutes away so you can see how much it pisses me off when i finally get home and its completely wrong. The biggest one is my katsu sauces are forgotten the most. Then i have to drive all the way back pissed off that my stuff was wrong AGAIN. Im writing this post so something actually changes because im just tired of it. For people who read this, ALWAYS check your food because its half the time likely that something is wrong with your order.
