I tried this place for the first time and got a pound of barbacoa. I absolutely will not get here again. Thought the price for what you get is good. $20 and I got the barbacoa, a dozen flour tortillas, a dozen corn, a 2 liter big red and a pint of beans. The beans are pretty bland, the flour tortillas are hard and the barbacoa is disgusting. I've never gotten some that was this fatty. I mean it just looks gross, even in my picture. I do not recommend here.

OMG... The absolute best Country Ranchero Tacos I have ever had. I order Country Ranchero every place I go. These things aren't even on the menu. But you know what? These ladies made them for me. Oh they were absolutely delicious!! I wish this place was located on my route to work, because I would stop by there every day! It's s small place, located in a little shopping strip type of building off of Culebra, between San Manuel and San Barnado... next to Culebra Meat Market. Ypu MUST stop here for breakfast tacos. And if you aren't hungry? Stop anyway!!

If you're looking for authentic comfort food look no further.Come stop by at La Amistad Tortilla from our homemade flour and corn tortillas to mass for your tamales, carnitas barbacoa ,chicarones and my favorite menudo . Not only did I grow up working here but I've always enjoyed the food and of course being able to help out with my family and being able to work besides my beautiful mother makes every weekend worth it .
The food and service are great. The atmosphere reminds you of a family owned business. If you have ever experienced a good "hole" in the wall restaurant with quality food, this will bring back memories.
They advertise to be open most of the week, but what isn't mentioned they dnt have a full menu as they do on the weekend. Decided to go and get some barbacoa, but they only had mixed, no tamales... so basically, they're a regular store , restaurant on the weekdays. It's sad when you work weekends and can't get barbacoa on the weekdays

Like your abuelitas kitchen. Food was amazing had the menudo, a Barbacoa taco, and fresh chicharrones. Will definitely be a regular.
We have the menduo with fresh corn tortillas and it was amazing. Fantastic flavor and meat was so tender. Plus order tacos had the chicharron with egg and this was amazing as well. The barbacoa was also Fantastic. All meat no fat and flour tortillas were soft and perfect.

The food is amazing👌 the lady’s are so welcoming and sweet🎀 as well as the gentleman 🎀 we rarely come but when we do it’s always such a pleasure and a peaceful dine in experience 🎀

This review is based on the misinformation on Google. They need to update it. I drove 35 minutes to get here because it says it’s open. Arrive and there’s a paper on their door stating they’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Wish it would have said that on Google
