Had a party of 20. Service very bad. Had only 1 waitress. She was good and sweet Celia. I asked the manager for help for her. He ignored me. Sad Mr manager!! Should not work your employees so hard. ?

This was my third time to take a business associate to lunch. The first thing they mentioned was that there did not seem to be any beef options. The waiter quickly pointed out that you could get the tacos al carbon in beef. They were so large. I ended up eating one of the beef tacos. It was amazing. I ended up with the bacon wrapped shrimp, which was delicious.

First time here, for a birthday celebration. We ordered off regular menu. They must have been busy, as everything took awhile - thankfully, we were enjoying each other's company and didn't mind the extra time. Tried the Epazote fish, not worth it. The vegetable side was the best part as the fish and it's sauce were absolutely tasteless. Rice was ok. I haven't eaten out in a big group in awhile, so although I expected a set gratuity rate for a large group, I wasn't expecting 22%, The setting is beautiful, but not worth the food. And soon it's going to be too hot to be eating outside even with the fans.

I love eating here, but yesterday 04-26-24 wasn't a good day at All. Got there at 2:30 was told 20 minutes for a table and ended up waiting 50 minutes. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. While we waited, we ordered a margarita and it had a bee inside, the Bartender straight up says, "Well I didn't put it in there" didn't even apologize and just replaced it and walked Away, witch was very rude. When we finally sat down I wanted a child's plate because I didn't want to eat that much, the waiter straight up said no, so the I asked for the manager (Teresa) I think was her name. She came up and Already had a mad looking face on her. She never apologized or explained anything, she straight up says no. And says "like I said we just don't do it" and walks away. I was like let's just eat quickly and leave this Rude place. Won't be coming back for a while.

We always stop by La Fogata when we are in San Antonio, but only the location on Vance Jackson. The atmosphere is wonderful and food is always great. We ate at another location and it was fine, but no special atmosphere and food was not great. Visit the Vance Jackson location, have a margaritas, they're great, and anything on the menu. Haven't had a bad item in all the years we have visited there. Enjoy!Parking: Parking can be a bit challenging if they are full but there are a couple of lots to choose from, just have to explore a bit if it's busy.

This meal in particular lacked a little. I got the pollo a la mexicana. The chicken was a bit dry and bland. Everyone else at the table had pretty good meals and to be honest I've been here before and it's usually pretty good. The service was excellent though my server was Jonathon D. He was attentive gave good recommendations without over doing it.

We had a reservation and still sat there for 2 hours before receiving our food. We had to take it to go because we were there so long and weren't getting service. We nearly walked out altogether

I didn't like the food. The area with sat in felt close off from the rest of the restaurant. We sat outside but there were 4 walls and a roof. Parking lot and entrance look nice. Don't plan to go there again.
