Definitely a must stop spot in San Antonio. We got the Hangar steak and Frites, Vol-au-Vent (chicken in puff pastry), and the Mussels Marineres. The Hangar steak and mussels were amazing, the chicken was just ok. I appreciated that it wasn't over seasoned, but it was definitely heavy on the cream and light on flavor. The restaurant is small, but warm and cozy

Stopped by for a restaurant week lunch. I’ve always wanted to try La Frite since I am of Belgian Heritage and it did not disappoint. I had the abet Bourgogne with a chocolate mousse. Everything was excellent, including the service and decor.
