OMG SO FREAKING DELICIOUS ? more authentic then the typical San Antonio Tex mex that’s everywhere. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my girlfriend got the green enchiladas! With the melted queso appetizer ? the margaritas were delicious and stronger than typical restaurants the seating outside has a nice view of the water I definitely recommend!

My experience and my own opinion. I had not been to the Gloria in a few years at least 4. I use to go twice a week for food and drinks. But a few years ago food and drinks along with service went downhill. I quit going. I tried it today for dinner. We waited 45 minutes. We were seated and no waiter for 15 minutes. I finally got up and called one. I ordered the ceviche Veracruz. Honestly about 3 ounces of fish and the rest nothing but diced tomatoes. Definitely not worth the $17 price tag. Server never came back to see if we needed drinks or anything else. We finally called her back and I ordered the pastor tacos because honestly the ceviche was nothing but tomatoes. The tacos were decent 3 mini tacos for 12 bucks. Ok I get it it’s the vibe you’re paying for but throw in some good food with the price tag. Or at least a decent amount. 3 ounces of fish and the rest nothing but tomatoes. My family didn’t like the service either. We won’t be going back. And I am not complaining about the price but put at least a normal amount not try to sell you tomatoes for ceviche. I have spent $1,800 on dinner and drinks at other places in town but really good service , really good food along with quality tequila in the drinks. The owner has traveled to Mexico to bring the vibe and decorations back to the US but lacks the food and the service. Especially the customer service. I have traveled to different parts of Mexico and have been to some really nice restaurants and some not as nice and customer service has always been top notch. We need better service here and better food.

Food was extremely expensive, and not even that good. Also, a 20% gratuity was added to my bill because I met some friends there. The waitress didn’t even do a good enough job to earn a 10% gratuity, so that was BS.

Went in with family for a belated birthday lunch and the food and service was great! Loved the Dia de Los Muertos special menu and attractions outside for that 'instagrammable moment.' Not our first time here, won't be our last. ❤️?❤️

My husband and I chose La Gloria to have our wedding dinner celebration after our ceremony and we are definitely super happy that we did! We had a party of 30 and of course I was able to reserve months in advanced. Chef Johnny and the admin team were very communicative and helpful with us choosing the menu package we wanted and making the reservation. The night went smooth. For starters, they already had our tables setup and allowed my guests to sit down as they arrived even though it was a little earlier than the reservation time. Then the wait staff we had tending to us all evening were wonderful and really on top of making sure everyone had their drinks full and with every dish that came out, they made sure to let us know what it was. They even graciously made an accommodation for my aunt who has a food allergy, which I had completely forgot to let them know ahead of time! Thank you to the staff and team at La Gloria for a wonderful dinner party experience!! And of course the food and drinks were amazing and my husband and I and our guests will for sure be returning customers!
