We found this gem on our way back to our hotel. The vibe and atmosphere are in still in holiday spirit which made seating outside even better. Our waitress Yojandy was busy but still took her time with us and spoke both English and Spanish, which is always a plus for us. We were a party of 3. We ordered a few plates and drinks, both drinks and food arrived immediately. I was surprised with it being a full house, how quick it was. Thankfully the food was great despite the reviews....
This place was incredible. The food was amazing, the decor was both vibrant yet super cozy, and the location was choice (on the Riverwalk). I was the blanquito -- with limited Spanish and a little hard of hearing -- eating with my significant other's Mexican family who were entertaining and visiting cousin from Monterey, so I got quite the full-on dining experience in the partaking of this Mexican American cuisine. Food is average. Nothing spectacular. The queso is pretty good. We had a planned party of 20 plus people and they should have dedicated more than one person for service so it was slow getting refills snd ordering.
