Have eaten at other La Madeline restaurants and been very pleased. Not so much with this one. My egg and mushroom crepe was very good but coffee was only lukewarm warm and weak. No half and half , only milk for coffee. No butter for the bread and only scraps of white bread left. Had trays of variety of bread behind the counter but didn’t offer to update the tray of left over bread. Finally pulled that tray out for myself and another patron who was also looking for bread slices....

My review is based solely on how the manager spoke to an employee, not on the service I personally received.
As we were ordering, the manager began to scold the employee in front of staff and patrons. I understand that she may have made a mistake, and from what I overheard, she has made multiple mistakes recently. A great go-to place for good breakfast food. Definitely has a classier ambience while still having good quality food and reasonable prices. They can get busy but service is always top notch and the food is consistently skillfully cooked. Pastry options are nice and consistently good quality.
