It says La Mejico Express, but it's the El Bucanero Blanco seafood restaurant. It was Great, Delicious, and not as busy this time around. This is my New favorite seafood restaurant. My favorite place to go for Churros. I usually order the plain Churros as just want the taste of the dough with the sugar cinnamon. However, we had a large party and some wanted to try the flavored Churros. They are always made fresh to order and come out hot & crispy.I still prefer the plain Churros, but did taste the flavored ones. They were good, especially if you want a sweeter dessert. Since it was still a Churro underneath it all, you can't go wrong.
We found a winner of a meal for Dad @elbucanerosanantoniotx and churros with @lamejicobakery after.Dad loves oysters so we had a dozen for a value deal of $15! We got a medium plate of ceviche en salsa de mango which was plenty for 3 of us. My Dad had the pina agua fresca, my husband had the Blueberry mojito and I had the Bahama Mama. They do not skimp on the alcohol! Dad and I shared the fish and fries, which was very fresh. My husband had the tacos de pescado and shrimp empanada....
