Don't judge a book by it's cover certainly holds true to La Playa! I was craving some fish and chips and Google led me here. Initially I was sceptical, but I'm glad made to decision to stay. The food was AMAZING and the service was very fast. The portions were huge with the fish having a thin, delicious batter. If you like malt vinegar, you better bring your own but the tarter was very fresh.

Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Got the family fish and rice and I gotta say it was pretty dang good. Super fresh and hot right out of the fryer. And their rice is some of the best anywhere. My new go to when I'm craving fried fish!!!

Service was fairly fast. Not many people for lunch. Although the food had a good flavor, the 2 pieces of fish were thin and tough, and the 2 shrimp were small. The sweet tea was excellent.
