My husband brought these home. They were ok. My kids loved them. The concha's lacked flavor to me. The donuts were super sweet, I'm guessing that's what won my kids over. Everyone's taste is so different, so I'd suggest trying them out and supporting a small business!

Donuts are good. However every time i come to this establishment the lady behind the counter is very rude. I don't speak Spanish so when trying to order something she just looks at you like you are in the wrong place. They don't have any accommodations for people who don't speak Spanish and it seems as they don't care to have your business if you don't speak Spanish. This was the fourth time coming to this place and it will be my last. Plus they charge for the box to hold the donuts. Who does that?

Always polite and well stocked the Apple fritters are nice size and the donuts and sweet selections are awesome

Besides the pricing a bit high, their bakery bread is always fresh. On cold days get your items early or you'll be stuck with whatever is there. They sell out daily. Like I said great bakery bread

The sweet bread is delicious. I love this place. Large variety. I highly recommend La Popular for conchas, wedding cookies, cuernitos and all your favorites.

The empanadas were delicious! We'll be back for sure. I was a little disappointed they didn't have conchas

2-13-2023The pumpkin empanada was good. I got 2 conchas one was very soft and fresh and the other was not soft and fresh. Please separate day old and freshly made if not made same day or AM and PM if you are charging same price. I bought small powdered cookies too. They were good. Paid less than $10. prices need to be posted please. (IMO Important to post prices) Thank you
I have shopped here for many years and have always enjoyed their pastries. Today, I was very disappointed with them I recently went there to get a large order to take to work. My bill was $38. When I got home, my daughter asked if she could have an empanada and I said sure. We went to my car and opened the box. I was missing 2different cookies that I had ordered. We went back to the bakery and tried to get the rest of the order. The ladies looked at my box and the receipt and were trying to figure it out. She counted the ones I had and one time said the total for the ones I had were $22 then she recounted and said it was $28. Then told me my receipt was right for the order I had. They had 20 min till they were closing and were locking up. Then was told the order I had was now $38 and they would not let me get the cookies I paid for. Very disappointing.

I agree with a previous comment of not ever knowing the price I get the same thing every time and the price varies from day to day. What is the bread based on and inflation, fluctuate rate or interest rate or what in the heck is going on is it based on oh I feel this way. I will charge this much today or what it is not worth going here. If your prices vary each day, you should have set prices like normal legit businesses.

The bread is really delicious and they have a great variety. The only thing that they should do is label the outside window with the name of the bread or identify the bread with a number. This would simplify/speed up the ordering process instead of just pointing to it and confusing the the attendant. The lady yesterday gave me the wrong bread and was rude when I told her it was the wrong one and for those reasons I rate give them a 2 star rating.

Are you looking for some wholesome Mexican bakery pastries? Then this is your stop! My favorites are pan de huevo and any of the cookies. They go perfectly with some hot coffee.
