Eggplant was the best ever! Unbelievable food and the chefs touch is unique - a must San Antonio restaurant from his lasagna to chicken Marsala classics to more complex dishes- excellent! Sometimes I order large platters to go and the owner is very helpful and accommodating!

Food is delicious, they serve one of the best lasagna, and the female server is very nice and friendly. The male server has always a weird attitude, a little rude, but that's my opinion. Very small restaurant, you always have to call to check if they have space or reserve.

La Sorrentina Italian is a hidden gem on San Antonio's Westside, offering a delightful Italian dining experience. The linguine and mussels were a standout, as was the perfectly baked bread. While the calamari could have been a bit more tender, the breading was spot on. The wait staff was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was great. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and for special occasions. If you're looking for a solid Italian meal in San Antonio, La Sorrentina is worth checking out.

My husband, daughter and I walked in and it took a while to be acknowledged or greeted. When we were finally sat, we were promptly ignored. We sat there for 20 minutes, being invisible, I guess. Idk what the food tasted like, no one even took a drink order. It looked like there was only 1 waiter and 1 cook. Every other table was being served food and their service looked decent. The place is tiny and dirty. Don’t go there. Not worth it. Vibes were way off.

It’s a cozy place with delicious food. Feels like going to someone’s home for lunch/dinner. It’s best to make reservations to insure you have a table. Since it only seats a limited amount of guest at a time. Wonderful customer service very attentive. I recommend the lasagna, chicken Alfredo, chicken parmigiana, fried calamari, the tortellini soup, etc. everything is made with love and care. Can’t wait to try the Chicken Francese next time.

A small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. A nice assortment of house wines. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I loved the lasagna I had, and my friend enjoyed the totrellini alla panna.

Super rude and unfriendly. I wanted to treat my family to a nice dinner and as soon as we walked in the host looked at us like we were on drugs and not welcome there. “How can I help you” um hello! We’re here to eat. Told us we need to come back because we’re full but only one family was seated. The entire restaurant was empty. If I could I leave 0 stars.

Saw the great reviews. Friends weren’t excited to even dine here since it’s a little hole in the wall but regardless I was really looking forward to it. They had one couple sitting when we walked in. Tried to sit down and were asked if we had reservations we were then basically thrown out 🤷🏻♀️
My God the place was empty?? I asked for a manager and lady claimed she was and she had reservations already and couldn’t seat us. Wait was for two hours. It was rude and unkind I also emphasized their great reviews and if she sat us we’d be quick. Didn’t matter to her. Honestly they should post on their site that it’s “reservation only” instead of a full blown open sign.
God bless them and their customer skills.
My husband and I have been eating here for years and it’s ALWAYS delicious!! Service is always good and the atmosphere is cozy!

Ordered the Pork Chop Fradiavolo for take out. Order was ready. The Pork Chop was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and thick AF. The spaghetti was al dente and the sauce was magnificently spiced and zesty. Even the cheese tortilini soup was bussin' and the breadsticks were nice and moist. To top it all off the Tiramisu was out of this world.
Well done and most definitely 10/10 recommend.

Make sure you get a reservation, and the bacon shrimp! Excellent food, pasta was perfectly cooked, service was on the A game, did I mention bacon shrimp?? Chicken Marsala was also the best I have had in a while. Excellent mushrooms.
