We stopped at the Exchange to check it out for the first time. There were several food places, little bit of shopping, nail salon and hair studio. We went to Starbucks, a little unorganized and chaotic, mixed up the names on our order but we got it straightened out. The Exchange was good, pretty decent variety for such a small place, we found some good finds. I'm Sure we'll be back.

Ever since they put self checkout, there are certain items from the store that have to be purchased at a manned register. Since they don’t assign humans to manned registers, you have to go to customer service which could have a long line for people making returns. This is laziness.

Lack of variety and prices at Exchange are higher than off-base competitors. Lack of variety at food court, to include healthy options.

Great military installation and the gateway to the United States Air Force. I went through there in 1997 and will never forget it

The employees that work the customer service area and cashiers are very rude. They made me feel like I am an inconvenience to them. They need to hire friendly people.

A lot of cool products that you cannot find at stores outside of the Exchange.

In my 26 years of being in the Air Force I have never been to a food court that was more disgusting than this one here at Lackland AFB! The food was terrible, the facility was filthy and worst of all, the workers were extremely rude! This is a shame that our brand new Airmen must see and be treated like this as their first introduction to the Air Force. Embarrassing!! Lackland leadership, you need to fix this!!

The greatest air force in the world is trained out of this rather large Air-force base that has quite a few amenities. Fast food, a mini mall, park and horse farm.

The salon here at the main BX is horrible they wait til one day before to cancel your appointment. Don't waste your time.

Shockingly small and old. Poor selection of items. Very outdated. Yuck. Does not make one feel like spending $. Ew

The Exchange or BX has everything you need. They sell shampoo, soap, snacks, soda, clothes, shoes, electronics, pots and pans, souvenirs, furniture and many other things. Basically this place is a similar to a Target or Walmart without the groceries. On weekends and afternoons this place does get busy because of all the tech schoolers/TDY people and families that come to BMT graduation. Be forewarned gets busy in the food court during peak times and afternoons.
