Lagos Buka bar and grill

As restaurateur, My wife and i decided to eat out on our day off (monday) . there was a consensus to try another Naija restaurant and pick a dish we do not have on our own restaurant menu, we set out, picked Lagos Buka, and picked afang soup with pounded yam and Goat meat. The only regret was that we bought just one plate. it was delicious and the portion was generous. Thank you to Team. we can testify that running a restaurant is not for the faint hearted. keep up the good work.

Ordered the egusi with assorted meat and the first bite was ok little spicy and bland, the second bite the meat was gritty, also had Amala,that's it first and last time I am also used to African dishes and have never had it were the meat was gritty

The food was very tasty. I had the ewa agoyin with Agege bread and it was WOW! I had to buy other meals as a "to-go".

I just ordered this on Uber eats and for 60$ it’s a waist of money . Never again . I paid 20$ for suya plate . And got 4 pieces of meat, which was mainly fat . no vegetables, no onion or nothing that’s supposes to be served with it traditionally. Also I paid for goat and no goat was my egusi soup. Seriously don’t waste your time . I should have listened to the reviews, but I thought I’d give it a try .Worst Mistake Ever. And the food taste bland. Hopefully they paid the light bill with that 60 because never again !

The best quality food in this part of Texas I won’t lie!
This time I got the catering service. Fried Rice, stew Turkey, puff puff, Akara meat Pie, Scotch Egg

I want to sincerely thank Nikki and the team at Lagos Bukka Grill for making my graduation party a success! The catering service was exceptional – truly a world-class experience. Nikki was very polite and helpful through the entire process. Omo the food speaks for itself. It was fresh, hot, absolutely delicious, MOST IMPORTANTLY IT WAS READY ON TIME and in ABUNDANCE.

Though this review is a bit late, I had to give credit where it’s due. Thank you, Nikki, for the amazing service and unforgettable food!

Sad to say for my second experience involving African cuisine this place turned me off. Walked into restaurant with no proper welcome or instruction on area to place order. Soup barely had any meat in the Afang soup which consisted of mainly fat and bones. For the amount of money that this establishment is asking for they need to offer better quality food and service.

After asking if the jollof rice could be cooked less spicy and being told no. They cooked the beef that I ordered with the spicy soup my husband ordered and the beef turned out extremely spice. I’m not sure why they couldn’t cook it separately. I’ve gotten beef from here that wasn’t spicy at all. I think it’s a matter of being lazy. It’s unfortunate and would not recommend.
