I can honestly say with all the travelling I have done to other wineries here and abroad, this one ranks towards the bottom of my list. Over priced for what they have to offer. Wine tasting came to us in little plastic shot glasses; how can you properly sample the wine in something like that? You can’t. Only one grape variety is grown on the grounds which isn’t even mentioned on the menu. The salad we got was drenched like rain in dressing. Charcuterie board has items bought at the store and not even locally sourced which would have been better. This place only gets two stars because they had a Gatorade tasting for kids and my wife liked it. And I got the feeling that the wait staff wasn’t to thrilled to be working on that particular day.

Great setting with inside and outside sitting and tasting options. Limited but very tastey food options. Prosciutto pizza with arugula and balsamic drizzle on stone/brick oven for appropriate crust! Say "Hi" to Ed (owner/manager) and Claudio (chef d'cuisine). Am waiting for a veggie pizza to make an appearance, but heard that a fig one is in process...!

Visited a few weeks ago. The venue itself is a magnificent setting, they've made it feel cozy and relaxing, a great place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine. However, when we walked in, the guy at the counter seemed to be annoyed he had to pour us a wine tasting. We are used to chatting with wine makers and learning about the winery- he was clearly not interested. Okay, fine, we would just enjoy the tastings by ourselves - and wow, was it disappointing. The wines are NOT good. We were able to find out they just buy wine juice (not grapes) from areas around the world and import it to make wine. I wouldn't recommend this place for the discouraging service and the mediocre (at best) wine.

Zinpon Wine is the bomb! Todd is phenomenal as well as the rest of the staff! Great outdoor sitting and fun, lively atmosphere. Live music was great

Love this vineyard! We’ve been here multiple times and it’s great everytime. Love how small and nice it is! The food is amazing as well.

We loved it, beautiful small vineyard very cozy. This was our first time visiting since we are on vacation. We had such a greate time. We first try the 5 wines sample, ended buying a bottle "zin-pom", then order a Margherita pizza that was also the best pizza I have ever had in a long time. We hope to come again whenever we visit San Antonio again. Definitely a place to visit!

Atmosphere was amazing and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and the wine ? selection was good. I only wish they had Moscato (canyon road) wine. The fresh oven baked pizza was also good and went well with the wine. Today they even had a live performance by Lindsey Chuber whom made the atmosphere even more pleasant and enjoyable with her amazing voice. Would definitely recommend this Vineyard.

Meh, they never brought our pizza and we were charged 16.5% tax on our bill. I so wanted to like this place since it’s 5 minutes from my house.

Person on the phone = really rude. Don't answer the phone if you don't want to answer customers questions. You lost business. Sad cuz it's right down the street from us. What a shame. If you answer the phone this way. How do you treat your customers when they arrive??

What a great afternoon! This place is top notch. We found it randomly online and didn't know we needed a reservation. The owner welcome us is, no problem. He listened to what I said about the kind of wines I like and don't like, and even though I'm not a red girl, he gave me a reddish wine that was exactly what I wanted. I've never had anyone pair a wine to my pallet before. Five stars. We bought the bottle to have on the patio. Such a relaxing escape from the outside world. I heard they sold it today. A little bummed because the owner is so personable, but hopeful the new owners will offer the same great personal touch.

Photos are from Aug. 7th 2021. I enjoyed the time I spent at Lara vineyard. The owner took the time to give some background information about each wine we selected & checked on us frequently to make sure everything turned out perfect. Their pizza is truly one of the top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had; it’s the true definition of fresh. In addition to having amazing wine & food, it was also super peaceful outside.
