Service good, atmosphere seemed crowded with bulky chairs and tables for a small room or spaces.
I ordered caldo/soup. It had a different taste but it did it have anything out of the ordinary, I even added salt. Lastly I bit the corn and it was OLD, only old rotten corn has soft kernels and the taste was of old corn, and that was the bitterness in the soup. I will not eat there again.
They allow walk in singers and it’s loud. Hard to enjoy a meal with

Had lunch here wit my son after his court date . I had the best bean n egg taco on a flour tortilla n my son had the crispy tripas taco n a bacon bean n cheese on flour tortilla. The service was great n on point!! The atmosphere was warm n welcoming wit all the waiterres wearing their SAN ANTONIO SPURS GEAR!! THE PRice was exactly wat we could afford. My Son loved his tacos!! We have been coming to enjoy the good n staff here for over 20 yrs n the service hasn't changed! Yes I would recommend to all. My over all impression of this place is the staff they all do an amazing job at customer service!!! Thank u to all the employees that contribute exceptional customer service!! 🙏

Restaurantji Recommends
The pichanchas super good
Service is horrible unless you’re a guy flirting with the waitresses. They paid no attention to our family of 4. Looked for waitress and saw her just chatting away with guys and then another time just chatting and holding an older older mans hand. I get the hustle but c’mon.

I've been wanting to try this place so I stopped by, excited for a new spot. It is unfortunate that I disliked the food. I hate to say but the food here was terrible. Just awful. If It was possible I would give them a negative 5 star.
I like the setup of the restaurant and I think
the tables are beautiful. Comfortable, clean, and easy scene to enjoy a meal. I went on a Saturday morning around 8 am. The restaurant was empty with the exception of myself and 2 others ordering to go. The ladies at the register were friendly but not attentive.
I ordered 1 lemonade and 4 tacos. 1 guisada with cheese, 1 asada ala mex, 1 country sausage and egg ala mex, and 1 Machacado with cheese. I asked for lettuce and tomato on the side and a small portion of pico. I was given green salsa to go with it. Everything was in the bag. I asked for red salsa and was told they don't serve red salsa.
The food was disgusting.
Period.
When my husband and I sat down to eat we found a red salsa in the bag. Let's begin with that. I love salsa. The green salsa is watery and sour. It tastes like i bit into a tomatiĺlo. Nothing else. The red salsa was also watery and sour. I was disappointed with that. The tacos were disgusting too. The country sausage and egg had a taste of fumes like butane or something. Weird also that the lemonade had the same after taste of fumes. The machacado was bland and sour. The asada was edible but not good. The guisada was decent but could have used more flavor. All in all, I do not recommend this place. Take your money elsewhere.

Somewhat loud and difficult to have a conversation but breakfast and lunch specials are always good. Try the molcajete salsa, tripas and barbacoa
