A great breakfast option; sorry no pics forgot to take some. I had the Smoked Texas Style Street Tacos which were fantastic, the Missus had the Griddled Flapjacks which she said was excellent. The service provided by Francisco was exceptional - went above and beyond on everything, was friendly, attentive and kind. I'm sure the other waitstaff is good but I plan to ask for Francisco first on future visits.

We visited the bar the previous evening, found service there to be indifferent and lax. If you visit the bar keep your expectations lower. The star ratings are for the dining part of Ambler Texas only; the bar would get 2.5 - 3.0 stars if I could rate it separately.

Can be accessed from the Riverwalk; it is best to visit if you are already located within walking distance of it, as parking in downtown San Antonio can be nightmarish and costly.

We had a great brunch on the patio. Francisco was our server and he was absolutely amazing. So attentive and friendly....he made the entire experience so much better!!!

We had such a wonderful experience! We dined outside on the patio, and although it was a little chilly, the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and worth it.

What truly made our visit stand out was our server, Francisco. He was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish. Not only did he offer to bring a heating lamp to keep us warm, but he even offered his own personal jacket which I thought was beyond thoughtful and genuinely kind. That level of care is rare and so appreciated!

As for the food…everything was amazing! The ahi tuna tower is a MUST have, so fresh and full of flavor. The chicken fried steak was delicious, and my husband’s meatloaf was just as good.

To top it all off, the mariachis outside the entrance of Ambler were the perfect way to end our date night❤️such a beautiful and memorable touch!

Between the great food, beautiful setting, and outstanding service from Francisco, this was an experience we won’t forget. Highly recommend! 👏✨

By far our best meal while visiting San Antonio for our girls' weekend. 6 women in our mid-30s went here for a Friday brunch. Francisco was our server and he *MADE* the experience! You would have thought we paid ahead to have such humor added to our experience. He was knowledgable about the menu (one of our gals is gluten free) and they had many GF choices. Food and drinks were great and I would definitely go back for those, but I might make a special trip back to the river walk for another dining experience with Francisco!!!! 5 stars!

We stopped in for happy hour and sat outside on the patio. We enjoyed delicious appetizers and amazing service. Francisco went above and beyond - he even brought us some iced tea to go. Highly recommend!
