I had the Jalapeño burger. Full disclosure; this is the first burger I’ve had in months, and maybe that played a factor in my review, but this is one of the best burger I can remember tasting.
The bun was soft and buttery, the meat was tender and juicy, the mayo lubed up and kept the overall burger moist, the Jalapeños added a subtle heat, and the cheese was gooey and added a nice texture. This was as good as it gets as a burger can be. Very straight forward and simple. I also had seasoned fries. Wasn’t mind blowing but it did taste fresh. I would recommend coming here for a good, simple burger and fries meal.

Words can not do this burger justice. This burger is the best in town, maybe even in Texas. They have quality ingredients, excellent service, great techniques which overall lead to a phenomenal burger. Do yourself a favor and stop by Last Place as soon as you can. No lie I always get two burgers when I go just because they are so good. That wagyu Patty with the toasted bun, creamy Mayo, and pickled onions and/or jalapeños create a perfect burger on every bite.

This operation is perfection. This may be the best hamburger in the country if not the world. The ingredients are source locally and of the highest quality available. The staff is well trained and experts in both creating the product and delivering it. Can't say enough good things about this place
Guys, this food truck is outstanding, best burger I’ve ever had, if you haven’t been here before you are missing out. The service is very nice and fast, the atmosphere is downtown San Antonio so you do what you want with that info, Mike Malac also rated this is #1 burger.

A great downtown SA dining experience true to the great food truck tradition. Delicious food with meticulous preparation and service. Your order home made from the Everything Sauce to the Seasoned Fries to the locally raised beef. And the pickles! If you like pickles try their variety on all their burgers. Paired with a cold refreshing craft brew from Roadmap Brewing Co. and enjoyed in a relaxing, covered, and pet friendly outdoor space with music. Located in a vibrant part of the city on a summer evening after a long work week, it's simply perfect! Lots of parking and a great interior space inside Roadmap Brewing Co. You can bring your date or the whole family. I hear they have regular Trivia game nights, too. Both are comfortable and relaxed at very reasonable prices.

Hands-down my favourite burger (AND my fave fries) in San Antonio ??? Lately even if we're not in the mood for Roadmap beers, we'll head over there just to grab takeout burgers from Last Place. Those crispy laced beef edges are just lyyyyfe!! ? (Even better when we *are* ready to tip a few beers to wash it down ??)
Normally I'm not a fan of ANY resto's "special sauce" (ewww, thousand island dressing. Gag.) But definitely don't skip the Burger Sauce at Last Place ?? Neither the burgers or fries even need any extra condiment by any stretch of the imagination- they're SO perfectly seasoned! - but dannng does a little dip of burger sauce ever level-up the already-perfect fries.
