Lady behind the counter was very sweet. The smash burgers were simply excellent. I travel the country and lightly the world with the primary objective being to eat the best tasting food! Came to SA to sample some brisket places, and for Last Place Burger. The burger is delicious, an almost smoky flavor, light enough to blend perfectly with cheese, onions, ketchup etc. Not bulky and bland, the seasoning is able to well penetrate the burger for a delicious meal that I nearly swallowed...
Lookahere..I got the standard with tots and it was beyond worth it. I couldn't stop eating until it was all gone. I would definitely eat here again and before I went to one of those franchise spots. I got my food to go so not sure of the atmosphere but it didn't take that long for my food.
I had the Jalapeño burger. Full disclosure; this is the first burger I’ve had in months, and maybe that played a factor in my review, but this is one of the best burger I can remember tasting.
The bun was soft and buttery, the meat was tender and juicy, the mayo lubed up and kept the overall burger moist, the Jalapeños added a subtle heat, and the cheese was gooey and added a nice texture. This was as good as it gets as a burger can be. Very straight forward...
