Ok, this is a tough one. I am not able to recommend. Not because anything was bad so much as to me it was just ok. And typically I prefer these small family run restaurants. Tacos in San Antonio is tough; there are some really good ones available. But here the homemade tortillas seemed a bit tough and the brekkie taco fillings were not hot but kinda warm. The combination of fillings I ordered on a couple tacos were mixed up, so I basically tried new ones. We showed up at 10:00 am so some stuff may not have been freshly prepared. It’s a quaint little restaurant, with limited parking out front. Very clean. Folks very nice. Perhaps if this was outside Texas I might have a different opinion, but this one does not stand out to me and I will find tacos elsewhere in the future.

Food was very minium. Potatoes had no salt while under cooked. Biggest problem was I was served old reheated rice. I asked and the lady at the front confirmed it was old. I told her it is best to say you have no rice than to server old terrible rice from the day before.

The tacos look like flautas. I don't like their attitude as if they were the best. If you want good tacos, visit Teran. They can feel proud. I don't like this place. Their food is Mexican. The bacon and egg tacos look like flautas.

The food was very good! This was a great choice for us. The price was amazing too we got our moneys worth and some. This is a good choice I would recommend going especially if you are visiting like us!

Carne Guisada: gravy was thick
Carne asada: tasted like leftover beef.

Take out? Ask for your salsa before walking out.

No other options in immediate area so stars for this.

I arrived at 12:23, ordered TWO tacos. It’s now 12:48… I don’t understand how it’s taken over 20 minutes to get 2 tacos, when they said it would take at the most 10. I was actually in a hurry to make it to someone’s lunch and I just wish they gave me a more accurate time, it’s fine if it was going to take long, if they let me know I could have ordered else where or something faster… one of the ladies was actually very sweet, just frustrated with the time. Thanks
