This was a very good experience. Friendly waitstaff. The food had great presentation, though I felt the rice in my seafood paella was a bit undercooked. My husband loved his fish. I loved the cerviche appetizer and both sauces (red and green). My Sangria was strong and delicious. I will try this one again, different dish next time.

I urge you to try this restaurant. The outside looks like the owner just doesn't have the money to remodel yet, but with food like this, I believe they deserve to have the best! Inside looks better than outside, but can still be improved. It's all a process though. The food is the reason I went, and it did not disappoint. Since I was with my wife who is kind of a picky eater, I always order something I think she will like for myself. That way, if she's unsatisfied with her food, she can have mine. ;-)Anyways, we were both happy. I originally wanted to try the paella, but it serves 2 - 3 they say, and my wife wasn't interested. So we got the chorizo flameado for an appetizer. I hadn't had it before, so I don't know if it is always tough on the outside like it was, but it tasted good, especially when combining the lemon and pickled vegetable garnish with it. The meat in the sausage isn't ground up the way we are accustomed to. The sausage casing is full of huge chunks of meat! It was a new experience for me.I ordered the chicken cordon bleu (not exactly a Spanish dish) for reasons I mentioned above. It was put together in an imaginative way that worked for me. The cordon bleu was cooked well. It was served on a bed of spaghetti pasta mixed with a red sauce and had sauteed vegetables on the side. The veggies consisted of broccoli and carrots cooked in butter with large slices of fresh garlic added for flavor. You can pick the garlic up with your fork and eat it alone if you want. That was awesome to me! I always like the way the cheese melts out of the middle of a cordon bleu when it is cut into anyways, so it didn't disappoint. It was exactly crispy enough on the outside. I liked it.The wife just wanted some fries and the shrimp appetizer, and she was impressed. She hardly ate any of my cordon bleu!! I can't describe her appetizer because I had too much food in front of my to even think about eating anything else. I was stuffed and satisfied with what we were served and the server was helpful and polite.I think these guys deserve the business necessary to make the improvements needed to the outside of the building, central air and the little needed inside the building. If things go well, they'll be a "preferred place to go" for many in the 78247 zip code.

Don't see how this establishment has such a high rating. Took a minute to find because the sign outside wasnt lit up. Pulled into the parking lot and there were only two vehicles. That should have been the first clue, but I've seen hidden gems before, so we went for it . Once inside, I became a bit apprehensive, but we sat down anyways. Tried to order various drinks from the menu which they didn't have. My wife settled for water and I went with a coke. I wanted ice tea. We order the crab stuffed mushrooms and seafood paella. The crab stuffed mushrooms was bland at best, topped with some kind of sliced cheese. Dont know what the stuffing was but it wasnt crab. The paella wasn't paella. The seafood was rubbery, it was topped with frozen peas and carrots, and diced tomatoes, no garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, or the key ingredient of saffron spice. Hate to be negative, but I was extremely disappointed.

Great find. The service was attentive and friendly. Don’t let the atmosphere fool you, the food is delicious. We had the octopus, clams and top sirloin cap and enjoyed them all - very flavorful and tender. We’ll be back to try the lobster and mussels next time. Prices are more than reasonable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Was traveling for business out here in San Antonio Texas and I was looking for seafood platters similar to the ones in Spaniard and Portuguese restaurants from New Jersey and New York and I found this amazing tasty place , their Portuguese/ Spaniard inspired seafood platters were full of flavor and they served large portions to fill you up nicely and the prices were good . On another day , Their Charcoal BBQ chickens and bbq pork ribs platters were tasty too and very juicy and fantastic seasoning . If your in the area of San Antonio airport , you must stop by this spot ..

We stopped in for lunch today, 12-7-21. It was fabulous. We had two appetizers and a salad. We asked for a salad as we did not see it on the menu, but we wanted one. We got a very nice simple salad. We had garlic shrimp and calamari. The calamari was standard but very well done. The garlic shrimp was basically Spanish Gambas al pil pil, which is one of the most delicious things you’ll ever eat. No alcohol, no tea, so we got a Mexican Coke, which is made with real cane sugar instead of high-fructose crap syrup. Delicious. This is a very plain hole in the wall with wonderful food. Highly recommend.

Wish we knew about this place wayyyy sooner! Very fairly priced (about $110 plus tips for 3 adults and 2 kids...kids pretty much eat like an adult). Great service, although short staffed (please be kind and patient when visiting restaurants during these hard times of hiring staff)!!We went for dinner on a Fri night. Ordered 4 drinks, 3 appetizers (oysters, stuffed mushrooms, and calamari) and 5 entrees. The menu is in Spanish with English descriptions. My 2 kids, spouse, brother from out of town, and I ALL enjoyed our meals. Definitely will return for bottled drinks (sangria was surprisingly enjoyed fully by the kids), paella, mushrooms, calamari, and the fried fish (molcahana...?) They also have Day Specails on a board by the register. We were pleasantly surprised with fresh toasted slices of French bread paired with a delicious topping...we used the topping on the fish too...and bowls of house soups (very homey feeling). Awesome portions for the pricing...all dishes were less than $18 each! The oysters and prawns weren't as fresh, but the fried shrimp and fish were on par. Oysters were plumpy and clean though (not much gritty shell stuff). The cooked vegetables were perfectly seasoned and steamed, not soggy, salty or raw. The salad was delicious. The pickled vegetables were a bit salty and vinegarly pungent. The rice may be a tad salty, but could be me after eating the pickled carrots and a vinegar based salad. I was able to eat the steamed vegetables to balance out the saltiness.I visited Ponte Vedra and Alicante Spain with my kids 4 years ago. It brought back some fond memories, especially with the bottled drinks and dishes. My son enjoyed it so much, he wanted to run back inside to shout "muchas gracias! muy deliciosa!" We speak a little bit of Spanish. If you want to watch something else on TV, they are very nice about sharing the remote.Parking lot is one way! Don't copy me and enter in the wrong way. The right side is the right way.Only suggestion for the owner, please clean the grease trap or hoods?? (I'm not sure of the source)...there is a weird odor in the restaurant but not the bathrooms. It didn't bother my family, but we can see that people may be deterred from smells. Y'all deserve more customers!!! We hope to return with friends! We will definitely return with our own family, regardless of the strange smell!

We tried it for the first time tonight and the food was delicious. The take out presentation was very nice too. It actually reminded us of a restaurant we frequented in Lisbon. Try it out and support local businesses!

What a great hidden gem this place was! We had the seafood paella and the crab stuffed mushrooms. Both were excellent. The waiter was very pleasant as well
