At first taste, this food truck ain't too bad ;) It was a quick interaction and the organization graced us by arranging for Little Jamaica to come to our little neck of the woods. So, why not? I ordered the j*** chicken plate which came with two sides. I had the rice and peas (like red beans and rice) and fried plantains. It was all good. They didn't have any patties left, but next time they show up around these parts, I will order the beef patties and curry chicken patties early to get in on that action. I'm excited about their return.

I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering but sadly when I have a taste for some good oxtails... Sadly I must say for the value of what they give you here vs what you pay doesn't add up. I purchased a large plate just to give me a good portion it was totally not worth it. I won't be revisiting! Unfortunately the Jamaican Restaurants here in San Antonio are the same, their attitudes are horrible . My choice where I choose to spend my hard earned money!

Food was not all that good and was cold. Waiter was very disrespect and it took 40 minutes before my food was ready. The prices are way to high I paid 12 dollars for curry shrimp and only got 9 medium sized shrimps, everything is overpriced.Wouldn't recommendParking: Over crowded and broken glass in most parking spots

Great customer service. The large oxtails & beef patty were okay, they could use a little more gravy the gravy they gave was very oily

I gave this restaurant a few chances because I’m all about supporting my Caribbean people. Today was the last straw! The oxtail barely had any color and taste.. if you a true Caribbean you would know. The white rice was almost soft like porridge and when I got the mixed veg to my surprise it was just the frozen peas and carrot. This place is also significantly over priced .. spent 25 dollars on that small plate.. don’t get me started on the j*** chicken ? srry but I will be taking my dollars elsewhere

Husband and I just moved to this area, and I have been searching for some good food with spice and flavor. Lawd have mercy do they give you flavor and spice. I loved everything. We got curry chicken, j*** chicken, roti, rice and peas, and yam. One of my top five favorites to get delicious food that feeds your soul.

Very good food and excellent service every time I stop in. My favorite is the plantains and the Goat Curry. Absolutely amazing!!

I’m grubbing as I write this!Given that it closed only 30 minutes after my arrival I’d say the quantity of my oxtails was still sufficient and the mixed veggies, rice & peas, & oxtails were delicious. The cashier was a kind gorgeous young woman who gave great service with a smile—A PERFECT representative for the business. She got me to try the cola champagne drink and it was yummy too! Thanks y’all.

Disappointed with portion size of large oxtail dinner and cost of $50 for two plates. Plate comes with 6 oxtail and I received 3 regular size and 3 baby oxtails. I consider this to be a waste of my time and money. This has happened several times and I will no longer waste my money at this resturant. In addition, When I called and placed my order the person who took my order was rude and did not know how many oxtails you recieve. She said "2 scoops". I had to ask specifically many oxtails do you recieve. She had to go check.

Oxtails tender but dry and not a drop of gravy. Rice and beans with cabbage was good. For the price, food could be better.

Something told me not to stop here but wanted to support but instead was treated with Horrible customer service, only thing that actually tasted good having flavor was the cabbage and half a yam everything else is like DAM WTF…salt-fish tasted spoiled and was cold, j*** chicken was over-cooked mainly served chicken bones instead of actually having meat due to be over-cooked won’t be coming here again. From my experience I wouldn’t have given a 1-star it deserved a 0-star review. I’ll stick with The J*** Shack from now on it’s definitely worth the drive for good customer service and great Jamaican food.

My daughter had to travel to San Antonio for business and of course was super excited to see the (Miami Vibes) Jamaican cuisine. However, the experience was just the opposite of the Jamaican experience in Miami. They were not hospitable, and after ordering the large oxtail plate, fixed a small portion plate of the worst sliced/prepared oxtails, she said, she’s ever had. You guys DO NOT represent the best of Jamaica. Imma tell ya ma!

Maybe it was a off day for them but they ruined it for me… and I can’t see myself spending my coins here. For 1, the cashier was rude. Food was okay but not bad but they played on my top at first with the portion of a lrg order of oxtails, 2 slices and 3 lil tips of the tail but when I seen MULTIPLE signs about if you walk out and find yourself unsatisfied basically, your bad! So I checked it before leaving and that’s when I spoke up and they gave me some more however when I went to REAL REAL JAMAICA OFF SAN PEDRO! Lookem up… THE BOMB! Now that’s Jamaican Cuisine and the staff was so sweet! The cashier really ruined it for me here at Little Jamaica though… the signs and not getting the correct portion and having to be put in an awkward situation to speak up because it wasn’t right just makes me feel like.. even though it was okay. I’ll never go back ! Maybe little Jamaica means you get “a little Jamaica” ???? cause the food wasn’t giving REAL Jamaica.
