10/10 loved their matcha latte and I was able to try the iced vanilla almond latte and their roast is so delicious!! The espresso is genuinely strong and you only need 2 shots! I normally like to add at least 1 if not 2 extra shots but I was so impressed with how yummy these drinks were! Definitely common back :) also, the inside is so cute. They have long pothos plants that are trailing along the wall and it adds a lovely splash of greenery to the shop.

The coffee certainly isn’t bad but it is not worth the wait you have to go through on a typical day. It’s pretty crammed and chaotic in there. You’d be better off getting coffee at a place near the pearl and then sitting somewhere other than inside here.

This review is long overdue! My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I visited Local Coffee over Memorial Day weekend! We walked over to it from the Food Hall. Perfect location! It has a great atmosphere and the staff was friendly and professional. I specifically remember the playlist hitting! I’m like 50% sure So Sick by Ne-Yo was playing while we were in there. I ordered the Orange Vanilla latte and it was so good! The gals I mentioned before enjoyed their drinks too!! Thanks, Local Coffee!

First time trying Local Coffee with a friend , the iced Salted Caramel Latte with almond milk was perfect . My friend is not really a coffee lover but enjoyed her hot chocolate with marshmallows inside . The Cinnamon Coffee Gluten Free Muffin was delicious oh my goodness . Our barista was so kind and sweet to us . Looking forward to try more of their options when I visit The Pearl again .

I usually enjoy my coffee here. Today I ordered a “chai latte”. It tastes like milk. Plain milk, with no taste or essence of chai.
Im usually given a sidecar (seltzer) with my cortado. But this time was denied. Seemed weird.

Restaurantji Recommends
I went to this coffee shop with my partner under their recommendation but I got super disappointed about it and it left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
The service was absolutely atrocious.
For me I can only drink soya milk and I simply do not enjoy any of the other alternative milk. So it makes absolute zero sense when a coffee shop wants to be some artisan level coffee shop, pretentious enough to jump on a bandwagon to accommodate all other alternative milk drinkers but can't provide the one milk I can drink??!
Well done local coffee! I probably will never set foot in your shops again!
This is also because the little girl serving me had terrible customer service, giving me the side eye and rolled her eyes at me when I asked about soya milk. I asked my drink to be sweetened and she skipped on that too. Unbelievable! Such lovely service huh?
So even though I wanted a cold coffee I had to shose something else. In a coffee shop.
Do not recommend and avoid if you actually want to be accommodated!!

Always love the coffee! It’s one of the best in town in y opinion. The baristas are kind and welcoming and make great lattes. The view is beautiful as they have big windows and plenty of seating if you are with a small party. I always come in a smaller groups so it’s easy to get a seat but if your with a group larger than 2 people expect to have trouble finding seating inside. Lots of seating outside also in the shade and sun.

Local coffee has a small footprint but a great location. It's a fun place to pick up a cold brew on a hot summer day while exploring the pearl district and the Niche shop around the corner.
The pearl parking lots are across the street and there is street parking around the area.

Coffee was not good, too bitter and acidic. I had a latte and didnt taste good, I couldnt drink it. But the WORST thing is that on weekends they only serve coffees in to go paper cups, "cuz they r too busy"... I wasnt told so and I dont like coffees in paper cups, it affects the flavor.
Imagine going to an expensive steakhouse on a date and they serve u $90 ribeyes on plastic plates with plastic silverware "cuz they r too busy"... Also their pastry selection and quality is average to subpar...

Ordered oat milk, I ended up with whole milk not knowing until it was too late and spent the rest of my time on my date with my husband, sick due to it. They need to pay attention to what they use and give bc some people need specific milk types for a reason.
