Lone Star Bakery Inc (plant 1)

I'm a truck driver and I got there the afternoon before my 9am pickup the next day. Art volunteered to load me that day even though it meant staying late. He also caught after he loaded me the order would put me overweight so he took off a pallet without complaint. Great guy and service.

Showed up for Pickup in 90 degree weather, at first wanted the reefer to be at 12 then it was taking some time and wanted it at 10 degrees then, told the loader will go drive around and get it cooler, came back at being 11 waited to go down to 10 degree. The dude wasn't rude, but it is bs that they rejected my trailer saying it is having problems, thats how reefers work, it takes time for it to cool in hot weather. They rescheduled it to some other time even though they could have loaded the truck.
Just wasted our day, if they wanted to reject should've just rejected and not tell driver to go drive around to get it lower. Also charged 100$ for late fee had 12 pm appointment told broker will be there by 1 pm said it was okay, got there at
12:45pm, still charged late fee and did not even load, they have terrible rules for truckers. On our blacklist. Not understanding to driver at all.

Great place to work. I work with them thru a temp agency called Traba. But they pay great and great hours too. I am planning on getting hired on soon but I'm trying to figure out how many hours I have to do or if I just quit Traba to do it. But Plant 1 and Plant 2 are both amazing. I work with both.

Waiting for 4 hours and still they didn't give a dock yet, if you are ready to spend the whole day you can come here and prepare for Waiting or maby more.

Very nice and friendly staff ?fast unloading show up 1 day before my appointment and they were very busy but still they unloaded me other companies should learn from Lone star Bakery Thanks guys.

10am appointment. Checked in at 830. Put in a door right away and was loaded and rolling in 38 minutes.. awsome people. Great place to load.

I had a 10am appointment and checked in at 8:45am and got into a dock door shortly after. Parking not bad if no one is parked in front of receiving dock doors. "Seems" to be limited additional parking in front of the shipping dock doors. Other then that the workers are nice and friendly and will work quickly to get you unloaded. Pic below is what I believe to be additional parking??‍♂️

Don't get here until your exact appt time or you will be sitting and waiting till your appt time.

Great job loaded quickly

These people are about their business. Had a 10am pickup and was in and out in under an hour. Very friendly people in the shipping office. No overnight parking but there are truck stops in the area to accommodate. Highly satisfied
