As of July 2025, they had some sort of water issue and their carpets got all wet. The smell of wet carpet was powerful. If you can’t stand any type of weird smell it might be hard for you to eat. The staff and food was at the same high level. You can tell the staff did their best to work around the inconvenience.

I really wanted to give this location a 5star review, the smoked mac & cheese and the honey brussels sprouts we're amazing. But unfortunately my steak wasn't, i ordered medium well but apparently the either the waiter failed to listen or the cook failed the order request so I ended up with a bloody steak. Most importantly it was the bathroom smell once we entered the establishment that caught my attention.

My boyfriend and my mother-in-law went tonight and we were surprised to find that the napkin was stained with lipstick and they just changed it without saying anything else. After that, my mother-in-law's fork was poorly washed, so by that time we were already uncomfortable. We expected that at the end of the meal they would offer us some apology, a discount on the food or some dessert in exchange, but they didn't say anything to us. Totally disappointed.

A male waiter spilled a drink on my daughter. No manager came to check on us. She was soaked in her hair and clothes for dinner. Her hair was sticky from the strawberry lemonade the entire dinner and uncomfortable. Food was good. No manager apologized or checked in on us which was upsetting.
Excellent food. Service was slow and virtually non existence. Very bright and loud and managers and servers congregating around an area. The two lower priced red wines were not available. ???? Had to order a more expensive wine.

🥶 🥩 The worst steakhouse in Stone Oak. I live five minutes away from the restaurant, people jog further distances in this neighborhood. The dinner rush was just getting started, how could they mess it up? When I arrived to the restaurant to place my order, it was half full with an empty bar. It took 30 minutes after placing my order in this half empty restaurant to get my meal. When I finally got home, I immediately cut into this cold “medium” steak that you see in the photo. Do yourself a favor and take the extra 10 minutes to drive up 281 to Saltgrass.

So disappointed! I assured my friend this was a nice restaurant and we went to celebrate her retirement.. Walked in and were told "toilets are out, should be fixed soon". OK, we can deal with that. Then I sit on a booth bench - it was not secured and the other end flipped up, so I jumped up. A passing waitress just said that's odd, this table hasn't been used today. No wonder. OK, so we pushed the cushion back and my friend held it as I sat (and no, my weight is not what caused this bench cushion to pop up). Sigh. Order dinner - salad with dressing on the side, sweet potatoes with fixings on the side, steaks. Drinks. Told the bar is behind. OK. No problem. Drinks arrived after the salads. Oh, the salads came drenched in dressings. Waitress offered to take them back but indicated it "would take a while" to get them back. OK. So, we ate what we could of drenched salads. Food arrives. Oops- sweet potatoes are loaded with butter, cinnamon etc. Not on the side. Hmm. We take off all that extra and put it aside. My friend bites into her steak- cold as cold can be. By now, we just wanted to hurry and leave. She ate half but couldn't finish a cold steak. To celebrate her retirement, we did order molten lava cake - thank God that wasn't messed up! So basically, I paid over $80 for dessert, the only item served as it should be. So disappointing!! I hope it was just "a bad night" and not a developing pattern of bad service.. The waitress was sweet and kept apologizing.

I think this place is pretty busy so it's understandable that the servers are always a little bit rushed. But when they try to take your food order before you even open the menu. I get a little put off and then When you don't get your drinks until after.Your food has already been served.That is sometimes another problem. The portions are very large and it's very good But I think I need to hire. More servers

Overall great experience. Steak is beautiful and tastes great. Sides are fantastic. I am gluten free and easy to find things to eat here.
