Went on a Sunday morning with take out line long but indoor dining half full. The host sat us down with menus and served us salsa. We sat by the kitchen window near the waitress/waiter ordering pad. Several of them walked by without acknowledging. After sitting there about 10 minutes we decided to take the food to go. We grabbed some pan dulce. Concha, churros and cream cheese pan dulce were really good. Ordered the number 1. Added an order of tamales. The cashier forgot my salsa? This was our first time here so I don't know if I was supposed to grab my own but I figured since she packed everything else then it was packed in there. Barbacoa was alright. Both corn and flour tortillas were really good. Now the tamales, those were probably the worse tamales I've ever had. Mushy masa, wet -- paid about $51.

Heard the place was really good so was excited to give it a try. The gorditas were a bit on the small side for the price. The picadillo was not quality ground beef and was not served very hot. The tortillas were thin and crispy on the outer part which I prefer warm and fluffy. I would return if I happen to be on that side of town and only during breakfast time when it's slow. Service was decent and the chips and salsa were good.

I do not recommend this business. Had the chiliquilles and they are no comparison to Tex-mex chiliquilles. Hardly any egg, no onions, no serranos, no tomatoes. Never again! Tortillas were not fresh! Waitress never refilled my cup of coffee. Terrible!

The tea was good, but the food wasn’t it. My kids had breakfast and the tortillas and chorizo and egg needed flavor. The potato, bacon and egg was edible but not all that. I had the chicken tacos plate. Again it was just okay. Rice and beans were watery. Total for 6 drinks was $20. Save your money and go somewhere else. We paid $70 for 6 of us and it was honestly terrible.

The place looked lovely the only thing service was bad we sat down and waited about 10min when another customer came in and like 5 minutes later the rest of his party arrived and the had their foodServed before we were attended. Worst thing was the chicharrón con huevo tasted like plastic and gave me a BAD STOMACHACHE ACHE I threw up the food minutes after in the restroom !! The chilaquiles my daughter chose had no flavor at all. The tamales were good though everyyelsw we left definitely not coming back or recommending to anyone!

Terrible place low quality food that's overpriced. Uncooked rice was served. When told the waitress she just turned an ignored me. Don't go there. Mary Lou's on McCullough is way better and staff is excellent.

It was our first visit here and we are disappointed. The bakery was good. We had4 tacos and they were cold. My coffee cup tasted like soap. They gave me another cup and it was the same. I wasn’t able to enjoy my coffee.

Horrible and inattentive service! Went by today to get a fresh order of corn tortillas and bake goods. Food is never disappointing but you need hire better staff or train them better to be able to multitask especially if your the only cashier. I went in wasn't busy at all, there was one other person waiting in line to pay but was also waiting cause the cashier was on the phone taking an order. Once she hung up we were in line and already waiting to pay but was waiting for the previous guest to pay. Once she got charged we were next, cashier had a call in order took 15 min. To take the order and then instead of being able to write down the order as she was talking to patron she hangs up and then she proceeds to fill out the call in order. This is ridiculous! I should've been in and out within minutes! Meanwhile you had other wait staff on the restaurant side standing around gossiping instead of using a little common sense and helping the cashier take phone order so she can take care of the line that accumulated behind us after we were waiting to be charged. But no after I specifically told the cashier what I wanted she charged me wrong and forgot to charge me for one of my items. Which I had to get my card swiped again! I was already furious by then! I paid in cash and left and cashier wanted to get mouthy asking me to not come here if I didn't have time to be waiting to make my purchases. As I yelled out back that they needed to be better organized. Don't come to this location unless your ready to get attitude thrown in your face by the staff while your the one with the money but seems that they don't have a problem with losing out on customers.
