About Luby's

Luby's has been a family favorite for over 60 years, serving delicious food with generous portions. The menu offers a great balance of options, including spinach with a lot of flavor, chicken fried steak, liver and onions, almondine fish, sweet potatoes, and green beans. The food is always prepared well, with great choices for entrees, sides, and desserts. The atmosphere is busy but still personable, and the servers are very attentive. Going to Luby's is a nostalgic, heartwarming experience with good food at good prices. They also have a great deal on the kids meal, which comes with a choice of roll and Jello—filling but not overwhelming, all for under $10. Don't forget their sweet tea. The meal & side options were endless. Great selection of items & they got their money’s worth! Generous portions! Great service. Friendly faces. Still keep ordering those darn enchiladas. They will remind you of your school cafeteria enchiladas. Comfort on a plate. The block of fish is a tradition as are the enchiladas. It's comfort food that you load on a tray! We ate baked fish, chicken fried steak, beats, loaded mash, bread, greenbeans, and yes, chocolate cake and pecan pie!
