I thought all Luby's had been closed, but I stumbled about this hidden gem! I was so happy! The food and service were all great as usual. The atmosphere was good and nostalgic, but super crowded. I'm guessing there's a police location nearby because there were a lot of uniformed officers in and out while I was there. It was a Friday during lunch just before Fiesta started, so maybe all that was why it was so busy, too. My only regret was that they did not have the millionaire pie I used to get in the past. Perfect place to have great home cooking and nostalgia of days gone by.

Had a great experience, but I haven't been at a Luby's for a while, and the crew the meal was Excellent. I'm going back soon for the future
There was no wait and the food served was hot and didn't taste like it had been sitting there before we got there. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, had a vintage aesthetic to it without seeming like it was a neglected location. I'm assuming it was a manager that approached and greeted our table right after sitting. This gentleman went around the restaurant cleaning and greeting which is always a nice touch. Made himself available for anything else we needed. Will definitely return.Kid-friendliness: All 3 children's plates were free due to a promotion when you purchase an adult entree so that was nice.

This reminded me of the old time Luby's where you would go dine after church with the family. We were greeted by the most interesting lady at the salad station. She was marvelous and set the tone for enchanted dinner from the past! The selection was vast but presented comfort food with impeccable service. Once seated the service was even better. There was not a time we waited for refills! The food was fresh and hot and very tasty. Just like I remembered. The exciting part was it was a filling meal for two for less than 30.00, tip included and the food was hot and tasty!
