Was driving the Mission Trail checking out all the missions when my wife and I ran across this neighborhood restaurant. I ordered the Carne Guisada plate and my wife ordered the Taco Salad. Our food was amazingly authentic. Tasted like the food grandma used to make. The homemade flour tortillas were on point. Soft and tasty! The Carne Guisada was flavored well and delicious! Lupita's has been amazing since my parents used to take me, when I was a young boy. And today, it still a very tasty place to eat and a wonderful place to meet up with the people you love.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Now, I bring my grandkids because they love the chips and salsa and food. We don’t come as much because it’s ridiculously expensive now. Not sure who is managing it now, but you’re not doing a very good job. Seems to be a lot of greed and just not caring enough about the facility over all. Also, if we had more welcoming faces by the owners, like we did when I was a child, plus affordable prices, maybe we would be regulars again....
