Maar's Pizza & More

Visiting from out of town and could not have picked a better spot for lunch. Great value for the food and especially local small-town pizza shop vibes. The area 51 pizza, which is basically pepperoni, was some of the best pizza my girlfriend and I have ever had, honestly!

I was in the mood for good cheese sticks and oh boy is that exactly what I got. They were amazing, you could tell they were hand made and the marinara was so flavorful. The Alfredo was super flavorful too. The breadsticks are my new favorite breadsticks and the pizza had a nice crust.

We were visiting from Houston. Didn't want Pizza Hut, so I did a search and came along this place with such a high rating. We ordered 2 personal pizzas for the kids and the 3 adults shared a large build your own. The pizza was so delicious that hubby and I were fighting for the 2 pieces leftover for breakfast. Lol We will order from here again next time we visit!

Did Maars change their recipe? Hadnt been in a while (since last year) and when I picked up our usual, the 16 inch pepperoni pizza, it looks completely different. It used to look and feel heavier and the pepperonis would be covered in cheese, but today’s pizza looked a larger little ceasars pizza. Sucks going back to find out it’s not how we remembered it.

10/10 went for a lunch and man the pizza is good.

I can't even begin to describe how great this place is. The food reminds me of Pizza Hut in the 80s when everything was fresh. Comforting to the soul. The family atmosphere and staff makes it feel like you belong. And by far the best and most unique meatball sandwich I've ever had.

Pizza was solid, get the extra cheese. Toppings were plentiful and tasty, but little more grease than I'd like so going 4 stars.

I order a calzone. the calzone was excellent, the marinera was sub par. If they were to work on their marinera, this would be a place i would visit more often. Service was excellent. Waiter was very attentive!
