Absolutely disgusting. Am Peruvian and it tastes like what someone Inga es Peruvian food to taste like but has never tried it. I think these are Mexican cooks attempting to cook Peruvian. The limo saltado looked like soup, the fries looked like bought from Walmart bag, no desert, no alcohol. Wouldn’t eat it even if it was free.

Do not eat the when they open because the Yuca was heated and too crispy probably from yesterday and tough. Go in at after noon food is much fresher and delicious and yucca is better. Besides that the food is fantastic in the evening or afternoon

Customer service is ridiculous. I pre ordered food from their website last night at around 8:30-9:00 pm for delivery today at 12:45 pm. I never received my food and when I called the man told me he has no idea where the delivery guy is. When I asked him to call them he said he’d call later not now which I found ridiculous. I then called 25 minutes later for an update to which he said no one has come in yet. I demanded a refund as I spent 50$ on this order and he said he cannot issue any refund that it is all through menustar. I asked for a number and he said he didn’t have it and to check the website, I checked the website and there is no number to call for menu star . I then googled their company and it says menu star does not have a direct phone number , all calls must be sent to the restaurant. This place is unprofessional and ridiculous. How do you all not have any way to contact your 3rd party services? I will not be changing my review and will not recommend this place to anyone. I will be disputing this charge with my bank. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Attached you will find proof of my order and time stamp AND the image of their contact information which is just their number, nothing about menustar!

The owner was an absolute legend. My friends and I came to get some food to go, and he let me try a bunch of drinks for free because I did not know what to get. He went through the menu with me and I got the half chicken with fries and a salad. HOLY!!!! Amazing food. The Maricuya drink is probably the best drink I have ever had in my life. I will for sure be back for the drink itself. Service is great, speedy, and the food is not expensive compared to others. Come check this gem out!!!!!!!

This food is so good
I bought 2 dishes to go
4 stars are only for the CAU CAU… just because I could count the pieces in the juice CAU CAU
The pollo à la brasa I will say 1 star just because. This was nothing to do with pollo à la brasa and not fresh at all.
Hard to trick to a really Peruvian.

I ordered the pollo a la brasa to go. The chicken wasn't fresh. The meat has a dark color. Definitely no fresh at all. Maybe it was cooked a few days ago. And adding to the chicken, in my personal opinion, it had feathers on it. You must clean the chicken well before you cook it. Personally, I won't order it again.

Not Peruvian flavors. This does not taste like authentic Peruvian food. The fries in the plate tasted and looked like they came from a frozen Walmart bag, the seasoning was insipid and not what I would expect from a restaurant selling Peruvian food. The lomo Saltado was swimming in juice and looked like a soup. This restaurant looks and tastes like it is not ran by Peru people, it is likely a Central American take on Peruvian food and it is absolutely terrible.
Does not deserve current reviews, am suspecting a lot of robo reviews. Please save your money and try something else. Also, THERE WAS MO ALCOHOL AND NO DESERTS!! I mean that was just incomprehensibly bad form. They don’t have a liquor license, and perhaps don’t have desert recipes. Overall extremely disappointed and it is the absolute worse Peruvian food I have tried in my life (my husband is Peruvian and we both thought this).

The food here is absolutely amazing. If your looking for something unique and flavorful, this is the place to go. This is the closest you can get to authentic Peruvian food in Texas. I will be comming back again and again.
