We decided to try this place out on my wife's birthday. Food was just fine, not great. The service was absolutley terrible. Diego is one of the worst servers we've ever had. It took him over 15 minutes for him to say hello, over 30 minutes to get our drinks served and an hour and fifteen minutes to finally get our food. He was clearly paying attention and serving the tables with the Mexican nationals first. Spending a lot of time talking to them. After we received our food, I asked him for salt and pepper in Spanish and he actually said "oh your from Mexico? You should have told me that at the beginning". Not that it mattered at that point because after 5 minutes of not getting the salt and pepper, I got up grabbed them myself. It was also evident that the bussers are also not fond of Diego, as I could hear them talking about him negatively in Spanish.
The chilaquiles and the avocado toast were pretty to look at, but were a little bland and the kids pancakes and French toast arrived cold.
Will not be back

What a beautiful place to have breakfast with your family. I had the Pumpkin French Toast. It was amazing. The service was perfect.

Delightfully charming experience with super friendly staff. The food was excellent, including a gluten free option.

Dietary restrictions: Not all items are gluten free, but they were able to recommend tasty alternatives.

Service is prompt, coffee and food were reasonably priced and executed well. My only complaint is that the lack of sound dampening in such a large space unfortunately makes for a loud experience at even half capacity.

I had finally found my favorite place for a good lunch!! The food is very good without a doubt!! But the treatment of the last waitress who served us, I don't really know what to call it... You were very rude Marisol (with glasses and colored eyes) you need to change your attitude!! Customer service is also about respect and you treated me and my husband badly...I'm sure we're not the only ones you've treated like this...

The food is great but didn’t have the good experience with the guy who took the reservation- wears glasses-. He snapped at me when he saw I brought two extra people. And came to our table and told my niece who is only two : hey girl friend you are making a mess. I didn’t want to make a big deal since I was with my family. But he needs to be trained or gone. There are plenty of other good restaurants around and the customer is always right.

3 1/2 Stars
The French Toast at Mae Dunne Kitchen & Goods had me hyped. They use brioche, a bread known for its richness and potential for thick slices, but the final product was just above average.

While the toast itself was good, it fell short of expectations, especially considering the price. Like many places, the it was thinly sliced, which felt like a missed opportunity. Imagine a fluffy, three-bite stack – that's what I was hoping for.

On the bright side, the bacon was delicious, and the fruit was decent, though a touch sweeter would have been nice. Presentation-wise, there's room for improvement.

Overall, Mae Dunne's French Toast is good, but not mind-blowing. If thicker brioche slices become an option in the future, I'd be back for another try.

I nibbled a sample from the Mae Dunn booth at the huge SA Flavor foodie festival recently, and I was intrigued, so I added this restaurant to my bucket list of places to try!! And as luck would have it, a friend asked me out to brunch, and so I picked this place! It’s very classy and has an upscale feel to it. I love that it has a cute little kids toy section inside. Their vanilla lattes are excellent!!! I ordered a pretty general breakfast: poached eggs with bacon, potatoes, toast & jelly, with a side of Chia Pudding. It was all delicious. I would totally go back. -Cheers from The Street Angel!

Wow! I almost don't want to post this review for fear I won't be able to get a table in the future. Easily the best breakfast I have had in months. Delicious chilaquiles, fabulous cappuccino with a heart, great atmosphere and service. I will be back here soon. A bonus - a slice of coffee cake that was very yummy.

This is a great spot for brunch! The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The restaurant itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. I have been a couple times before and had wonderful experiences. Today we used the front room for a baby shower. The owner and staff were nothing but kind, attentive and accommodating. We had less people than we planned and they still allowed us use of the room which was so kind. The food was great and there are a good amount of options. Everything tasted very fresh and I will for sure be back.
