Lots of things to do. Good prices and deals. Bowling, food, games etc. Service was on point, and food was delicious.

We had my daughter party here and from the hostess at the front door to my party coordinator Kayla and the young woman who was working the laser tag attraction, they were so nice, kind and communication was a amazing. This was a very smooth party.

Was having a casual get together with friends so didn't reserve table and just took our chances. The hostess was very accommodating and moved tables together for us.
Dinner was very good and our waiter as well.
Next came bowling which I had reserved for to avoid a lo n g wait. Was told the best way to reser e was on the website online so that is how I made the reservation for 4 lanes/12 owlers/12 pr. of shoes/2 hrs of bowling which came to a whopping $425!
One would expect to have some semblance of ser ice for that amount of money but NO, when we completed a game and wanted to start a new one, we had to track down an attendant to clear the screen so we could start the new game (which wasted time I had purchased). No one ever came to the lanes to see if we needed any food, drinks, etc...WE GOT NONE OF THAT.
During hour two of our bowling there was a mechanical failure of some sort which affected 2 of the 4 lanes I had reserved so the attendants were trying to fix it which consumed the rest of the time I paid for to the point that the bowlers left.
When I asked if I'd get a refund for the time not used (for bowling) I was informed that I could have a gift card for the remaining time. I did not want a gift card because frankly I wasn't planning to ever come back but, was told that was the only way they could refund my money because I made the reservation on their website (which is how I was advised to do it). I wanted a credit back to my card.
When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were out-of-town and wouldn't return for a few days.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with the whole mess and will indeed NEVER return to any Main Event!

It wasnt what I expected. With a name like that, your thinking alot of games, and honestly I was disappointed. We went through all the games within 30 minutes and the games seemed outdated. Its was nice just alot of space is wasted. If they add newer and more games it would be alright, but not for me. It wasnt the hype everyone talked about..

We went today and the service sucks. We sat to bowl and nobody came to our table, we had to go order or own food. We were about done bowling by the time the food came. This was the loaded fries BTW. A few dry fries are missing, $10 for this. Waste of money.

It's an alright place to go. Lazer tage is definitely for little kids. Bowling is good. They have real size balls and pins that don't use those strings so they fall properly.

We've taken our daughter (5-7) here several times and have had an enjoyable experience every time. Twice, we have been attendees of a birthday party. Everyone seemed to enjoy the parties, and I heard no complaints about the service. We have had no negative encounters with staff, or any egregious issues with other guests. The facilities are well-maintained, and this is a great place to bring young children-to-tweens to ensure they're exercised and entertained to the max.

As long as this location maintains or exceeds the current enjoyability, we will definitely be continuing to patronize Main Event plenty for many years to come!

We had a Christmas gathering. The manager gave great customer service. This is a cool place for adults and kids.

Half of the games weren’t working/broken. When went to speak to worker at the game area as she’s helping us she got on a call with her mom. The guy that initially helped us with our bowling shoes was great. When we went to the bowling our food got there before our drinks, and had to ask another worker to bring them not the original person. There was trash everywhere. It was horrible. Spent $80 for trash everywhere .

Great Place to Visit in San Antonio

Pro: This spot is perfect for a fun day out! It has a variety of activities, including pool tables, laser tag, bowling, a massive arcade, gravity ropes, and a spacious seating area. The food menu is extensive, so there’s plenty of options to choose from. The indoor temperature is just right—comfortable enough for short sleeves, not too cold or hot.
We had wrist tags for unlimited games, which was awesome for enjoying all of the activities.
Con: While the place is mostly great, the bathrooms could use some attention, as a few soap dispensers were out of order. Some arcade games weren’t working either, which was a little disappointing. On a positive note, there’s plenty of free parking, so that won’t be a problem when visiting. However, there isn’t a designated area for small children, though you can still manage by sitting them on your lap while playing.

But, be prepared to look after your own yable. Staff is a bit slow, but they are polite.

Great atmosphere and my kids had fun. My lady loved the drinks and it was a great time. We’ll definitely go back.
