Best food and value. Dishes range from 15 to 24 bucks but are very generous portions and well made. There us plenty of flavor and it is definitely made fresh to order. Their pretzel is insane, the breakfast is fantastic, the fried mushrooms are amazing and they make a great fresh ginger ale and strawberry lemonade. This place has food made with love.

Great service and atmosphere, however, food was disappointing. My chicken was undercooked and I had to send it back. My husband's bacon was too greasy to eat, so he had to use a paper towel to blot up the excess grease. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating, but I lost my appetite after that. Also, the food was served pretty much at Room temperature.

My family came in to enjoy a meal together after our late grandfathers funeral service. We were told that the restaurant could not accommodate our 14 family members due to there only being 2 employees. Additionally they mentioned that they would not allow any splitting of bills. For this we were turned away or offered to wait until additional employees showed up. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. Very unfortunate 😕

Mama's Cafe is consistently wonderful. We drive 30 minutes to eat here and have never been disappointed.
The food is great and priced reasonably for the amount served.
Laura was our server and she did a terrific job of ensuring our satisfaction during the meal.
The drinks (alcoholic) are top-notch and again, reasonably priced.
I suggest making a reservation to ensure being seated. Its a popular place.

First time trying. I ordered the fried fish tacos plate. They were decent. Rice was good. So were the charro beans. Only thing is I wanted grilled fish. My mistake thinking I'd get grilled. Not their fault but not what I wanted either. Fish was good but my diet calls for grilled. Again... not their fault. Wife got pot roast. It was okay...a little dry though. Service was very good. Atmosphere...a bit too loud for me. Can't really have a conversation in there.

Really wanted to like this place. Nice atmosphere, service was okay not too bad, now the food is another thing. I had the Chicken and Waffles, they were cold! Had to send plate to be microwaved because it wasn't just not warm, it was actually cold. Husbands potatoes were raw and hard, sausages looked like ground beef mixed with spices, fruit was sour. Now the good, chicken taste good, pancakes were okay, eggs are egges so okay. Took super long to arrive and $150 for 4 meals was so not worth it. Go to Bobby's Southern Kitchen if you really want to enjoy your breakfast. Sorry but we won't be going back here.

Born and raised Texan…worst chicken fried steak I have ever had. Thick, rubbery, gristly unchewable piece of meat. My dinner guests raved about the fish & chips. The mashed potatoes and veggies were very good. Our server was excellent. I’ll have the meatloaf next time
