Food was delicious especially for the price. I got the hash bowl and I think all it was missing was some type of sauce, I added a hot sauce and it hit the spot but overall, great coffee, friendly staff, great food. Definitely will come again and try their biscuits.

Never a bad experience at Maple Street Biscuit! Always friendly and speedy service, the food lives up to its hype (especially the biscuits). I came in for a pickup order which was ready by the time I walked through the door earlier than the estimated time. I appreciate Franklin’s cheerful attitude especially so early in the morning, he offered me a coffee for my wait which us always a nice gesture!

Perfect for a quick, casual breakfast/brunch when you don’t have time to wait for a full-service table. My favorite is the Farmer biscuit with apple butter, but also enjoy the Chicken and Waffles, Five & Dime, and Chocolate Chip Waffles. Really everything. It’s all made from scratch in house and tastes like home.

For a place that is all about biscuits, these were the worst ones I have ever had. Super dry and flat, like they were frozen and cooked on an assembly line. The smashed hashbrowns were raw and wet in the middle and burned on the edges. This is unfortunately a place that became a chain (owned by cracker barrel) and completely declined.

We have been here a couple of times, but this time things looked and tasted way different. My power bowl was not touched by even a hint of seasoning. It tasted like a boiled meal. The coffee was good and the service was good but the food needs some TLC. Majorly disappointed and won't be back.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. It gave the right amount of relaxed visit with high quality food and top notch service. Management and the team are doing great things in this establishment and it truly shows. I ordered the Chix and waffles and my husband got the Retro plate. Both were outstanding and not to be upstaged with the excellent customer service! We made great selections largely recommended by the lovely young lady taking orders. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Try it for yourself. You can’t go wrong!

Super good. You have to get biscuits and any of their coffees, sweet or savory. Non negotiable.

When I first walked into the restaurant, the cleanliness immediately stood out. The music was at a perfect volume, and we were greeted right away by Leila, who was very friendly! The menu is displayed on TVs by the front door—not my favorite placement, but easy enough to read. I ordered the Squawking Goat, Smashbrowns, and a Sunrise Mimosa.

If I could rate that sandwich by itself, it would break the scale. It was simple but absolutely delicious. The pepper jelly wasn’t too spicy—which was a pleasant surprise! I wouldn’t have minded more heat, but the sweet-spicy balance was spot on. And the goat cheese? AMAZING. It melted perfectly into the sandwich, and spreading it with the jelly took it to another level.

The Smashbrowns were the only miss for me. They were crispy (which I loved!), but the flavor and the sauce were a little confusing—I couldn’t quite pinpoint what they were going for. The mimosa, on the other hand, was fantastic. Fresh-squeezed orange juice and cranberry that tasted like they stomped it themselves 🤣. Franklin, the manager, came out afterward to ask us how everything was and I appreciated that gesture. It felt personal.

Overall, everything was great. If I could change anything, it’d be the potatoes, but this place is still a solid 10/10 for me. I’ll definitely be back with friends and family!

i love it here!! my sister and i came to the location off bulverde on a slow monday afternoon, and were taken care of by franklin and leila. she was so patient with us on the register, as it took us a while to get our order together. once we were seated and situated, the food came out promptly and was so good!! literally blown away. my sister really enjoyed the squawking goat, and i was shocked by the deliciousness of the eggstreme biscuits & gravy. we’ll definitely be back!

Just went for the first time. The first thing I ordered was a coffee. 20 minutes later, after my bf got his orange juice brought out, I asked about my coffee and the staff member said she'd check. 10 minutes later when we were almost done eating I had to get up and ask for my coffee, and was handed and empty mug by the woman who took our order. No apology, no explanation, just here's your mug. She was just standing chatting up her male counterpart living her best life when I came to ask about my coffee. So just know that coffee here is self serve and they may or may not explain or give you your mug.

My husband and I came here for breakfast yesterday, and everything was fantastic. I ordered the Retro Plate and he had the grits—both were delicious and a great value. The smashbrowns were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the biscuits were soft and flaky. My husband really enjoyed his grits, saying they were flavorful and creamy. We also tried the iced toffee coffee, which was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
