We were walking the River Walk when my wife smelled the most delicious fajitas. I asked a river walk employee where that was coming from and she said Mia’s Mexican.

We do not recommend Maria Mia’s. While walking the river walk, we got a whiff of the most delicious smelling fajitas. We asked one of the river walk attendants which restaurant the smell was coming from, and they directed us to Maria Mia’s. We ordered beef fajitas, excitedly waiting to taste the delicious fajitas we had smelled while walking around.

The margaritas are fabulous and the chips, salsa and queso are fabulous too. I would recommend this restaurant

Great food, affordable price and friendly atmosphere with a view of the riverwalk. No complaints whatsoever.

There are several options for Tex-Mex along the Riverwalk, so choose wisely. My group stopped in here because it was close to our boat stop. Late lunch time (around 1) was not too crowded and quick service. I had a Mango salad with creamy cilantro dressing and it was just what I needed, in the midst of eating so much heavy food. The people I ate with both ordered burritos and they were huge, easily splittable. Our waiter, Leo, was wonderful. He got us refills of water and tea quickly and frequently. Overall, a great little lunch stop on the river.

Nice place to get out of the heat and try some tasty Tex Mex food. We enjoyed the chicken nachos with the crispy cheesy nacho chips topped with sour cream and guacamole and jalapeños. The beef quesadillas were really good as well. The salsa is served warm and the chips are thin and crispy. We had attentive and friendly service.

Great food, great atmosphere, great waitress. I was so happy that we were able to get in and seated with 0 wait time. We'd stopped at a few other places before knowing this place existed and couldn't be seated because they were at full capacity. Our waitress Renee was friendly, fast and efficient. We will definitely be back.

We usually order this plate called Isabella but it wasn’t on the menu due to prices of current items going up but our waiter Anthony made it happen. We have never had a bad experience with the staff. We have been coming here since 2015 and will recommend. Ask for Anthony he’s a great waiter. Please bring this plate back on the menu

My first time dining at this restaurant on the Riverwalk, and Our servers were super friendly, Jair and Daniel, bathroom was clean and service was so fast!

Food was terrible. Service was slow. Our drinks came out after our food. We ordered two different types of tequila, they couldn’t tell us which drink belonged to which person, so we had to guess. The guacamole had a hardened crusted look like it sat out for an hour. And for only a table of 4, with two drinks cost us 124.00. Worst spent money ever.

Location great. Service not so much .Food is ok lots of tortilla on burrito. Chips are good salsa is warm.. Food came before drinks. Which I cancel because we finished our food before waitress came to check on us . Ticket took forever to come back ..so it's just okay..

Gave the restaurant a 2 star rating for cleanliness and nice servers. They even gave us a complimentary photo. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. The guacamole was bland, no cilantro or garlic. The salsa was bland as well. The mango salad was mediocre at best. The price was higher probably because the restaurant is right next to the river boat tour entrance.

Needed to wait for a bit while family from out of town went on a boat ride, and decided to have a drink and some queso and chips. First off, our waiter was rude and short with us. He really hates his, and needs to retire. I know servers work for their tips, but he definitely wasn't working for his! He never came back until he gave us the bill, and seemed bothered to refill our drinks when we asked if we could have some more refills. SMH The queso and chips were tasty, the fried flour chips were really good and I wish they offered more with the huge amount of melted cheese. The other chips in the basket (regularly offered) we're ok, just tasted like store bought chips out of a bag. I'm really surprised to see that the restaurant gets a "A" grade in their window. It wasn't very clean feeling or looking. Bathroom was ok. No paper on the floors, but it didn't smell clean, water all over the counter, soap scum too. Not coming here again. Sorry tourists...in advance.....there are better places down the River walk. Walk a little further....don't stop here!!
