The best breakfast I have had!! Huge portions and everything was delicious!! Highly recommended!!

This a small, family owned restaurant that delivers every time! My wife and I love their food, everything is made in house and tasty.

Visited Marla's around noon on a Saturday and at first it wasn't too busy but it quickly filled up! Not a lot of tables so I recommend you plan accordingly. They ask you if you want the vegan menu or the regular one when you come in as their vegan options are big and varied enough for their own menu! I tried the Hot Pink smoothie and got the flautas, both #vegan. They also gave me some complimentary chips and dips. Really delicious food! I can see why they get slammed with lots of customers! I'm so happy there's yet another delicious vegan restaurant in San Antonio. And hey, if your friends and family aren't vegan, you can visit here with them. Everyone's happy!

Amazing little restaurant. Great vegan options. Service is slow sometimes because they are a small restaurant with a small staff and they get pretty busy, but they are very kind and do everything they can to make your meal at visit wonderful.

Amazing spot on the west side. They have both a vegan menu and a regular one. The food portions are insane. Judging by how slammed they are with customers, they are the spot to be whether for their all day breakfast or their lunch items.

The place is nice and cozy. Server was very nice and attentive. My mother ordered something from the vegan menu and it was absolutely delicious. Looked beautifully made. I on the other hand ordered the steak and cheese omelet. As they brought it to me it looked delicious. But as i ate from it the meat was tough it had a iron taste. A taste you get from where meat is left in its blood soaking. As a dug a little deeper i saw that most of the "meat" was actually fat. I told the server she said shed let them know. She came back with the owner apparently saying, that meat comes with fat. Which i understand but the amount was ridiculous. There was more fat in my omelette than meat. To my recommendation, vegan options seem good . But stay away from meats. It was disgusting.

2nd time around and just as great as the 1st time! Delicious vegan options! I love that you can have Breakfast at anytime! highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

For the food alone I will give this place 5 stars, especially the vegan options. Vegan options >>> non-vegan options. However, the service and the how this place managed is pretty bad. I think my husband and I got there around 7:40pm on a Saturday night. Even though we ordered at the same time. It took about a hour to get our food and even then they brought out one dish at a time with huge time lags in between. In fact my husband ate his entire meal before I even received my food. I probably won’t be back again for this fact alone. A+ for the food though.

I was SUPER excited to hear they had opened a Marla’s in SA since we go to the one in Laredo every time we visit. BUT this spot is sooooo small that even When the manager opens the door in the morning even he has a 30 minute wait. Food is great! But it was super tight, LONG waiting times for both seating and food. Service was meh. Lady kept on telling me “One moment please”.

This is my favorite place for vegan breakfast. Plus they have a delicious vegan chocolate cake.

Excellent!!!! Beyond words. I’m new to vegan food, my boyfriend has been vegan for a while now. We loved it! We enjoyed it! It was delicious! Oh & their coffee!!!! Amazing! Very big portions! You’ll take some home.

Excellent food...lots of really fresh options that are very different from anything nearby! The service was mediocre but we did arrive during the lunch rush. There was only one person working front of house. This is an amazing gem on the Southside and I hope it is around for many years to come!
