Have been coming for Friday's beef rib plate now for over 15 years. Look forward to it every week. Nothing better in all of S.A. and I eat a lot of beef. Friendly staff and fellow diners. Have ordered breakfast tacos for over 150 staff a couple times and they are always a hit!

Love going here with my grandmother, husband, and children! Delicious tortillas, beans, rice, breakfast tacos, and lunch plates with tea or coffee! The owner and waitresses are extremely friendly and have clean bathrooms. Highly recommend!

Monday's chile relleno lunch special was so delicious & nostalgic!! Whenever I see this dish on a menu, I ask if it's fried. Sadly, I usually receive a "no". But, this one was not only fried, but tasted exactly how my grandparents made them...ok, dare I say...BETTER! There was a picadillo/cheesy filling and all topped with their delicious salsa (which was served warm with chips as an appetizer). The rice and beans were perfect, as were their tortillas. I can't wait until I have another school workshop in San Antonio so that I can lunch here again!!

It's the first place I knew growing up. Born in 1970, this is where my dad took us with what little money he had. Mary's kept us alive. Good to see it's still around and taking care of the community.

Love their food, and they only have 1 waitress but she's amazing. I have to give it to her. She's very good. The entire atmosphere is great. I love their Fideo, and their breakfast tacos!!!
