Wasn't expecting to find this walking from the Alamo to the Riverwalk...great selection of whiskey...hard to decide what to pick...

Carlos is a great storyteller, sharing the history of Maverick Distilling and the building it occupies! We participated in the tasting and the flights were excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, showing us how they make their whiskey. They were very prepared for our large group of 33!

Always have a great time at Maverick Whiskey. Texas history in a bottle!

Great place! Carlos gave us the great history of the building and the name and couldn’t have been nicer. The atmosphere is great and the whiskey and beers were A plus. We will definitely stop again when in San Antonio!!

I walked in by curiosity… I end up with a bottle of gin and a limited edition cinnamon whiskey for back home in Greece.
The cinnamon whiskey is my new favorite!

Hopefully they gonna have more in November when I will be again in the area…

The Gin, (my preferable alcoholic drink) I kept it for a special future occasion😁

This was my first time in San Antonio. As a whiskey fan, I appreciated that Maverick was transparent. The grain to glass product was awesome. The tour was interesting and fun. Carlos was a great guide to an authentic San Antonio product.

Pretty cool spot. The Speakeasy upstairs has some great custom cocktails. Worth stopping in and meeting the team.

Carlos, and Jason, and Mark and (I’m so sorry that I did not catch our bartender’s name) our bartender are friggin amazing.

Do NOT skip this distillery when you’re in town. I promise you these guys will take the best care of you. And don’t miss the VIP tour either. It’s super reasonably priced and you’ll learn and experience so really cool things. P.S. ask Carlos if he and his wife are enjoying their jackalope ball cap. :)

Went to Maverick Distillery for my birthday. We did a distillery tour, followed by a tasting, and then went up to the bar on the third floor for a cocktail. EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of this experience was fantastic. The hospitality of the staff, the knowledge/expertise of our guide, and the history/roots of this establishment, were incomparable. And the whiskey? Fabulous. Thank you for such a fun time!

This was the best surprise find of our trip to San Antonio. My wife and I were walking by and decided to go in on a whim. It was such a great decision. Carlos was incredibly welcoming and full of information about the spirits, the history of the building, and the city. The old fashioned was wonderful and every spirit was solid. The Rye stands out as my favorite. This place is definitely worth a stop for anyone visiting San Antonio.

Went to a whiskey & chocolate pairing event. Atmosphere was very cool and historical. Staff was friendly and attentive. The whiskey was very good. (Favorite was the straight Bourbon) the chocolates from San Antonio Fudge Company paired perfectly but were also delicious on their own. We will be back again.
