We LOVE The Meadow. The quality, care, and love put into their food is pure excellences in every bite. They treat us like family and know our favorites and suggest perfect new pairings. We come here on most special occasions and when we just want a nice meal.
I have been looking forward eating here because the ratings were always high but I have to say I was disappointed. Temperature was uncomfortable, old house with bad air conditioning I'm assuming. Little fan everywhere. The food was just ok. Shrimp and grits didn't have a good southern flavor that you would expect. The okra dish was good, peach salad had very little flavor in the dressing. But I must say the fried chicken was a nice surprise! All four of us thought it...
I took my girl here for her birthday, and they absolutely crushed it from the lady who sat us to our waitress! As soon as we walked in, they greeted us, wished my girlfriend a happy birthday and we were instantly sat. In terms of the food, it was flavorful and the drinks hit perfectly for an 11:30 AM brunch. My girl got the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly and I got the brisket, potato eggs and tortilla, and it was very tender and tasted so clean and delicious....
