As we were here at merkaba the bar attendance kept ignoring all the black people at first I was like maybe the music, mabye it was too loud but then too young black females came in right after us and she was a small petite girl so she had to get on the bar stool and lean halfway over the bar to get the guys attention and we all seeing that he turned around and noticed her and still did not acknowledge her.we was there like 20 minutes before she was and still waiting for them to take an order and she was there after that incident for another 30 to 45 minutes without her order taken as well. This bar needs to really get some better workers that was not called for and we will No longer will be attending this bar.

We held a private company event at Merkaba and it was fantastic. Whitney the event coordinator was great, she was very communicative and ensured everything went well. The servers and DJ were awesome. Our team had a great time! Would definitely recommend!

Had a vip party that included a cast and film crew of 150 guests and was discriminated and not allowed inside due to some of the actors having facial tattoos and aesthetic modifications. Upon first arriving they told us they couldn't uphold their end of the incentives that come with the vip party to begin with, no food tickets, and no drink ticket substitutions. Its a shame that they turned away a guest list that big due to facial tattoos, instead of making their business some money. Worst of all during Fiesta season.. smh. We can do better san Antonio, you can do better Merkaba.

Checked this spot out on a Friday and hands down, it’s the BEST spot for dance music downtown. Bartenders are great and fast. Definitely gonna be back.

The Bouncers whom are black or fake security guards need to be fired they discriminate and harass you happened as soon as we hit the bar. We couldn't sit at the bar per the security guard who made us remove the chairs and place them behind us and he just kept looking over at us and talking to another security officer wanting to start a fight. We always recommend this place but after tonight never again. 03/16/24!
