The service and food are always excellent. They make a mean margarita that was absolutely delicious!Been a customer for over 30 years. And my husband has been going since he was a child with his parents. Since 1959.We did have the pick of outside tables since no one was there. This place is iconic. We plan to support it by going at least 2-3 times a month. If you are reading this review... I hope you will do the same. There were only 5 tables inside with people. And us outside. 3 other couples came in after us.We love Mexican Manhattan! So others please help support what's considered an important piece of San Antonio.

In my opinion this is the best mexican restaurant in downtown. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it's always delicious and friendly. A must if you want a relaxing meal.

Went during lunch since I work downtown. Waited to be seated n no one around. Sat down, took a while to order n waited 45 mins for our food. Finally got our food without utensils. Had to wait longer. Took one bite n had to take it...way late to return to work. And the prices are Outrageous. I won't be going back.

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. Worst Mexican Food I have ever had. The service was slow and the food had no flavor. Super disappointed. I would not consider this Mexican Food, more like Cafeteria Food.

I love the food in particular the refried beans, rice, tortillas and tamales! I love supporting local, small businesses and this is always my go to for Tex mex food.
